I will be outside rain, snow or shine with my crystal web I've built around my home joining with you. I definitely agree that those of us who can do something, need to do something! I will let you know if I find out anything from the Earth or the crystals I gave to the Earth once again.

I will be perfectly honest. I would scoff at the various prophecies and earth changing shifting type things as another "Y2K" stupor...with the earthquake in 2004 and then obviously the bizarre weather we've had here in IL and now this past couple of earthquakes and the resulting changes to our entire planet in a matter of seconds, being astronomically well...insanely huge, I'm sort of shocked off my rocker. I wanted to ask if you could direct me please, to some good literature from reputable (not the more flakey) authors about the prophecies and changes to expect, as the internet is ripe with oddities that gave me my scoffing attitude in the first place. I'd really like to study some of these and do my own readings and psychic divinations into the Earth and the crystals based on what i learn. I would really appreciate this. It may also help others here who are also misinformed or uninformed such as myself.

I want to thank Witchschool and the Correllian Tradition for always being informed and on top of things happening that affect the world and us as spiritual beings.

Becca,

You can check anything from the Bible, Albert Einstein, the Mayan Prophesies, the I Ching, the Hopi Indians, they all predict a shift in poles that will change the face of the Earth. Most of these are centered around the famous 12.21.2012. But the science is there, especially with the starting trend of the desalination of the oceans.

The History channel did a good show on the prophesies that are out there check to see if its playing locally. They go into the history of each prophet from Delphi to Nostradamus and compare against the science being presented today. It was a great show.

Another source that I'm just starting to read about is Edgar Cayce. He was a famous psychic back in the 40's and even he made a prediction about the changes.

I read Edgar Cayce back in the early 80's and also Ruth Montgomery, both predicted the Pole Shift. I also had found another book at the Cincinnati Public Library regarding the Pole Shift and previous Pole Shifts. Ruth Montgomery believed that a Pole Shift approximately 10,000 years ago caused Lemuria to disappear. This would not be the first Pole Shift, nor will it be the last. Of course, Cayce predicted it would happen 20 years ago, Montomery, I believe, predicted a more recent date, and then there was the 05/05/05 prediction and I cannot remember where that one came from, but we know that one did not occur. I believe the one date I read about that I found more plausible had something to do with the Age of Aquarius, at least it seemed more plausible to me. My notes are in storage, but I have been preparing for a 2010 to 2012 time frame.

Hi All!

I'll be doing a solitary ritual today, and if i can get a prediction, i'll pass it on.

I've been getting a lot of visions about plane crashes the last few month, which were correct it would seem. But how are we going to prepare ourselves for a global natural disaster - Gilgamesh again?

I just read the NASA report carefully and I would like to point out something.

The use of the word "MAY".

I'm not saying that the axis did not change - it certainly did. However, there are no conclusions, as they are *still investigating the matter* - which means we are not dealing with the hard facts YET.

As a Web Weaver myself, I will be participating in any attunement ritual the Order calls for; we must indeed realign ourselves to the new shape of the Earth there. However, the "predictions" call of an inversion of the axis - and we are not there yet obviously. If the axis had inverted, we'd know before we'd be reading in on the internet. And please, don't start on the catastrophe theories. Most of us will wake up on the morning of December 21, with several parts of the world in havoc, yes, but with plenty others who will be unscathed and able to help those in need.

As many people now are taking the reliable predictions seriously, there is, I believe, a shift in attitude and an action-taking that actually can alleviate the catastrophes - remember, divination gives you what will happen if nothing changes, and that law was valid in Delphi as much as it is today when I sit with my tarot and pendulum. Back in the day, I don't know if many people worked toward alleviating the risks - but today, a good number are, and that's increasing - hopefully - so that might have a positive effect on the course of events.

I don't think what Nostradamus and Cayce and the others have seen is what will actually happen. I think we'll have a "watered down" version of their visions, to some extent, because more people actually care now.

Thanks for your sobering comments here Elise. Indeed, after doing some talking with the guides, I am now quite certain that this shift will not bring about anything too dramatic. The natural disasters we've been seeing the last few years, will be with us still and in time will become more and more frequent, but the intensity will be the same. I do see more weather related changes over Africa, especially the Sahara and the countries around the equator though, but whether these will be the result of the shift in axis, I don't know.

Global warming is most probably the culprit here and also the cause of these earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and changing weather patterns. I've seen an article on the net somewhere that global warming is also affecting other planets in our solar system - not just us.

The effect all of these things will have on humanity is that people will once again take Mother Nature seriously (like we've been doing all this time) and will be "forced" to help each other out, where disasters occur. The most significant change 2012 and the current "disasters" will thus bring about is within ourselves, but as said we as humans will be forced to change our attitudes on a global level towards the earth and all Her creatures. We are forced to develop and employ our higher spiritual values of compassion and love towards all.

Global warming I experience a lot where I live - I'm in northwestern Quebec, in Canada - a cold place (but not the North Pole, eh!). Twenty years back, the average temperature in January was (minus) - 30 degrees Celsius. Now, it's around (minus) - 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. Twenty years ago, in summer, there was no way one could go out with a sleeveless top, it was too cold. +25 degrees Celsius was exceptional. Now, you NEED the sleeveless tops, and we reach +35-40 Celsius. New insects can live here that were unheard of in these parts 20 years ago.

And you are right in saying that 2012 will bring inner changes within people. It might herald the end of A world (in the sense of a change of attitude), but it certainly isn't the end of the THE world...
