I am relatively new to Wicca, and it just so happens that there is a person in my school who is Wiccan and has a grandmother who is heavily into it.  I am of course talking about correllian by the way.  Anyway...At first I was totally stoked to start, but then I saw that you need to go to a temple to become initiated(of which there are hardly any in my region) and that you can initiate yourself but that if you do that you aren't actually fully initiated.  Any advice would be awesome thanks!

"The Correllian Tradition recognizes Self-Initiation, but encourages its members to have real-time Initiatory Confirmations when possible. To facilitate this, we offer Initiatory Confirmations at as many events as possible." - copied and pasted from the tradition's website. I don't know who told you that self initiations weren't considered "full" initiations, but they were mistaken. I would say that most of our tradition's members are in fact solitaries.
