A beginner in need of suggestions

Greetings I just started to look in to wicca, but i have always been drawn to it and connected in some way. I have had multiple experiences with premonitions that have come to me in dream and have scared me at times because of how accurate they have been. So i wish to know what book should i get to start out with as far as wicca and another book that deals with the world of tarot,meditation,psychic abilities.

Any by scott cunninham. I think there is one called "Wicca, the magic of nature, a guide for the individual practice" Or something similar that is the best (as described by many) to familiarize with WIcca.

I would say join the group the Library they tell you which books are good and which are with the buy. wouldent want you to invest your moneys in books that are second rate. their are alot of writers out their, some books are good for learning while others are not so good and of course with things as high as they are better to invest in something that you know you will get good information from BB

If you're latin american, look for a book written by Veronica Hernandez. I belive it is called "Wicca, la magia de la naturaleza" it is wicca very well adapted to our place and our time.

Else, i'd just give out scrot's most important advise: Just practice.

Merry meet! I also am a beginner, although I don't think I'm quite as new as you. I've been wiccan now for about 2 and 1/2 months. I think some books that have really helped me out are: 1. The wicca bible, you can find it in Chapters, Indigo, and/or Coles
And 2. The first degree witch school book. This one doesn't say anything on tarot, but TONS on psychic abilities, and how to develop them, and on meditation, and also an introduction into the correllian system and magick. But I don't recommend buying the witchschool first degree book, because if you enroll yourself here at witchschool as a basic member(free of charge!) you can get the witchschool first degree lessons online, and it also has tests at the end of each lesson so that you can see your progression.
As for the "Wicca bible" it has EVERYTHING! It's got alchemy, numerology, spells, astronomy, tarot, psychic abilities, Magick, something I think you will like/need is dream interpretation(which is intriduced in the "wicca bible") Hope this helps!

p.s. don't forget to NOT buy the witchschool book, you can get it on this site for free!
