Ok, to sum it up I just got a Pagans Tonight T-shirt in the mail today and as I went to work mom got the mail for me and told me I had a package. I asked from where and she said World of Witches Museum. Ok so I totally raise my eyebrows. I didn't order anything at all, so this was an interesting surprise. I grab the cardboard envelope and probe before opening. Squishy, cloth like and nothing else in there, ok so a shirt possibly. That was what came to minde. So as mom asks me what I ordered I tell her again I didn't order anything and then open the package to find a T-shirt, my size and apparently a Pagans Tonight one at that.

So I think and try to brush off the whole thing and realize, oh, I know why I got it but I had long ince forgotten. A long while back I had played Pagan Jeopardy/Trivia on air and this was the prize to all of us playing. I think it was the one with Rev. Don and totally stumping us all with his superior intellect. Still a great night all the same.

Well I had forgotten about it and I guess this is it. There was no note included so I can only guess, but hey no biggie.

As to the alternatie title? Well mom sort of knew, guessed and all but we never really talk about my 'wierd' side. Ok, wierd to her, normal to me.

This is a lack of knowing HOW to bring it up with her without it seeming too out there for her, even the concept of energy work is odd. A book I got from a friend, Hands of Light which is energy healing and a sort of scientific way of looking at it was too weird for her. But as she would put it, "Your thing, not mine." So breaching the I'm Pagan subject is tough. But yeah, this pretty much confirms it more, or at reaffirms it.

To me it's not really a big deal, but I do feel bad about not addressing it outright with her. But we are two seperate worlds her and I. She thinks Lord of the Rings the movies are wierd. She is kinda interesting really, believes in our spiritual medium Anita and the sort but somehow energy work and what I do is a bit beyond her comfort level or something.

Anyway, this was a great surprise on a day I was not enjoying much. Had a person not call me back and I went into work specifically for them.

But anywho, I guess this is a great kick in the butt to finally confront this with mom. I may have to be in the broom closet in public due to where I live, but at least she can know and stop maybe wondering. But she is a smart one so who knows.
