I belive rev. Don had said in Corellian Wicca shares that view with hinduism expressed on the article, and the god and godess are faces of the same universal pantheistic diety: aspects of the universe. And any derivation of them is also but an aspect of the universe. It's not just Corellian though, the idea every god/goddess is just the "face of the diamond" that diamond being a pantheistic diety was evident to me in Scott Cunningham's green book for the solitary practice, Raymond Buckland's Big blue, Vernica Hernandez' Celtic Farey Wicca book, and Gonzalez Wippler "Wicca" book. I never read Gardener's books, however. In fact, the books pretty much gave the idea all ancient paganism was in fact "Panetheism", apparentl polytheism wich truly was pantheism, much like hinduism in this article.

Panetheism is the denial that [ god ] has personality interesting ..

A personal god, that is, an individual with superpowers that created us all is not very godly imo. The idea even seems silly, because if it's just an individual then there can be something beyond him. God has to be something more tracendent than just some dude with superpowers to really be "god". Pantheism seems way more logical to me than an omnipotent personal god or polytheistic gods.

The Gods and Goddess are the sides of a diamond, just as each of us are. Gods and Goddesses are individuals just as we are, but also part of the divine Goddess. As per the Corellian Teachings.

So the answer: It is both.

I personally love the view of Diety in the diamond aspect.
The way I see it is it's like if it were possible to write a book with all the knowledge and wisdom of the world in it, then asked everyone to read the book. You can bet just about everyone who reads that book would experience it in a different way according to what they're able to understand and how they feel about certain topics. Even the imagery of people and places would vary according to each mans imagination.
Diety is so complex, how could everyone possibly view and understand in the same way when we are all so different?

now I like that ....
