I have been at the same company, and working hard for the last 5 yrs...but there is no upwards career path in my role. I applied for a job in January, but the hiring company put a freeze on the position. This would be a dream job by the way. In the meantime, all, and I do mean ALL of the top executives at my company jumped ship and we came under new management. I don't like the way things are looking, and the new managers have no comprehension of the day to day operations. I found out last week that not only has that dream position I applied for been un-frozen, but the entire dept is being moved to my area from another state and there are a bunch of openings. I have a friend in the office who has referred me, and I sent in my resume. I am asking, PLEASE, if you feel lead, lend energy to my hopes. I just started school, got a dependable car, and it is a period of growth and stabilizing for me. I really feel like this new job is where I'm supposed to be.
