MM Rev. Selene!

Please share with us the exact recipe and consecration (charging) method for the Litha Oil! As I would like to do the same in advance for our Litha Celebration here in Mexico! I'll love it!

This full moon I'm planning to hold another Virtual Ritual with all Latinamerican members available... And I'll also do some personal solitary ritual as I usually do... I like to celebrate in the three ways whenever is possible... In Solitary, in group with my friends, family, Temple and CT & WS' colleagues: both with virtual rituals and with real-life ones...

Of course, not always is possible to celebrate the three ways... But one does as one can... And the important thing will always be: To Celebrate, to commune with our God & Goddess, to synchronize with our Mother Nature and Her Cycles, etcetera... All those wonderful things we do through the ritualistic practice of our Wiccan Faith.

Im new at this and was wondering - what full moon ( date) are you refering to and what is Lithia oil ( have yo got another name for it, im from Norway and no one knows what kind of oil iam talking about. And I was also wondering about what Sabbat is coming now and could you be more spesifik about the preperation for the sabbat and maybe some rituales that i need to know to be celebrating? Love Sol

I like to use this Full Moon Calculator: Webmagician's. It shows the fullmoon for any month and also if there are two full moons in one month.

Merry Met all,

We will be creating an anointing oil appropriate for Litha.
The ingredients are Olive Oil, Bay leaf, Cinnamon Stick and Tiger eye.
Research indicates these all have Sun attributes and aid with Fertility, Healing, Peace, Protection, Clairvoyance, Purification, Wisdom, Knowledge, Lust, Power, Success and Courage.
All appropriate for the blessings of the God of the Litha Sabbat, the Sun at His height of Power.

I would recommend referencing an herb resource and researching what is available to you now and what your desired intent is.

The working will be to have the attendees enter a meditative state, shift consciousness, invoke the Spirits of the ingredients and ask for their assistance in the creation of this anointing oil. Then to charge the oil I wrote a chant of "Blessed Stone, Tree and Plant, To us our request grant, Your gifts to oil impart, to aid us with our future Art."
