is it possible for a wiccan to marry a Christian?

I think an important factor is how open you are about your faith. I won't apologize for what I believe, but there are very few people in my family that are aware of my faith. My family is christian, and since I believe there are many paths, I just don't talk about it with them. Since christianity teaches it is the only way, and they believe witches are not going to heaven it would just distress them. If you don't care what anyone thinks, then you can do a double ceremony. If you are trying to stay under the radar, you can always convert the symbolism internally, since alot of it was taken from the pagans in the first place. Many of the traditions surrounding the virgin mary come from worship of the Goddess, and many aspects of jesus come from the God, right down to being born of the Goddess, growing, dying, and resurrecting. It all depends on how you want to approach things, and how much confrontation you feel like dealing with :) There is also the question of how well his family would accept a double ceremony. It affects both of you, because even if you don't care what they think, he might, and these are people you will have to deal with for years to come.

and you hit it right on the nose , I have done two of these where both a minister and a priestess were present, we mixed the streams as they are called and it turned out quite beautiful .very good answer BB
