Ok all of my super smart, very wise friends of the Craft.  Need Holy Water before Monday.  I got some free flowing creek water.... now what???  I have some books but they all vary in directions of this.  I need simple and straight to the point directions because sometimes length of wordy rituals confuse me.  I am sure that I will get better at it with time....  maybe.  lol!

Here is a ritual for making your water sacred (oh, OK, holy) for your work. This is from the lesson on consecrating a wand:

" . . . Next cleanse the Water, making three tuathail (or Widdershins, counterclockwise, at any rate) circles above it with your hand, while visualising yellow-white light forcing out all negative energy. Speak words to the effect of:

'Behold, I exorcise you, O creature of Water, casting out from you any impurities which may lie within.'

Now bless the Water, making three deosil (
clockwise) circles above it with your hand, while visualising blue-white light. Speak words to this effect:

'And I do Bless and Charge you to this work!' "

Of course there will always be some web company who will sell you almost anything LOL.
This works fine for me, and should properly cleanse you water for whatever work you need it for.

To any clergy, please correct me if I have misled Mara in any way.

I believe you are O.k. Mr. Larry!!! LOL!! I love it...It is so short and to the point. You two give me hard choices..... :D *Mara
LOL... ok

first... are you going to be ingesting the water... ever? If so, put it in a pot on the stove and boil the water for 5-10 minutes. That is just for safety and wont affect the "magical-ness" of your water...

Say: "I cleanse this water in the name of (the goddess) and (the god)... may it be the embodiment of purity."

Next, put your water in a sanitary bottle or jar. Add a sprinkle of salt to spiritually purify the water. hold the container in your hands and draw energy up from the earth. Visualize vibrant opalescent light pouring through the container and into the water. Feel the water warm by a degree slowly, feel how it is becoming energetic and vibrational.

Say: " I charge this water with the energy and spirit of all waters,
may it be filled with the energy of wisdom, truth, healing, cleansing, judgment and blessing
May this water make sacred all that it touches
as the waves bless the sand of the beach
as the rain nourishes the soil
as the river carries life over the greatest distances
By my will... so mote it be!"

Repeat the incantation until you feel the water is charged with as much energy as you feel necessary.

The water is now charged, however, leave it in a window to have added sun energy and moon energy.

Blessed Be and good luck!

Honestly! What would I do without the Megan??? Wise beyond her years! Is flattery getting me anywhere? LOL
LOL... If your goal is to make me blush... than you are successful...

I just found out my pagan teens article was featured AGAIN on Pagan's Tonight, and Zaracon invited me to speak on the show again.... I feel like my head will get too big and it will explode (do you think candy will come out?) hehehe... That and my husbands shower of compliments... I really am suprised!

lol, good luck with that concentration anyways...

Blessed Be!

I am just glad that I was able to meet you online! You are wonderful and even if it is just online I count you as friend. You have been such a giant help to me and also a source of inspiration. Keep up the good work Megan. You are a philosopher at heart. Use it, don't lose it. A lot of us wait to see what you have to say on varied topics, and you never disappoint. Follow your path and if a Wiccan Guru is what you are supposed to be, then that is what you are supposed to be. I think you are great at it and should do something with it. I know that I have learned a lot.
