I don't know if it's still available as a freeware but a writing tool called QuickPlot would be very useful for creating a computer based BOS. You can break your BOS down into chapters and 'events'. You can even move things around, if you want. It prints up as a txt file, but that just means it takes less space on a computer. Unfortunately, it doesn't hold images.

Tdiary is something that I just discovered the other day. You can have both pictures and text, and I started putting a BOS together yesterday. You can use the pages downloadable from here at the site, copy and paste text, use your favorite fonts, and print from the program.
