Hoping for the best... I hope you can find a friend that's close enough to you and good enough in computers to help you.

And, by all means, get an anti-virus software and keep it updated weekly!

Try installing Trend Micro Internet Security - I think they have a first-month free trial, but I'm not sure.

I just managed to get back into the Witch School my computer using SAFE MODE. I have had Trend Micro Internet Security installed on this computer as long as I have had this computer. Trend did this to my computer ~ it said that my compuper is in GOOD condition and up to date with all updates! I had Trend scan my computer daily & it could not detct any of the hundreds of viruses attacking my computer! ALL my fires are infecred with viruses ~ my computer cannot perform any functions. Everything ~ every ~ file on me computer is corrupted & all functions lost. I cannot purchace nor install any new Anti~Virus or Internet Security on my computer because all files are infecred & corrupted. Everything I click on says file is corrupted & will not do anything. It takes hours of tries for me to even have this Witch School accessed in SAFE MODE! In normal Windows XP mode Nothing works on my computer. In SAFE MODE I have bare minimum haphazard functions ~ most everything I click on is shown as a Blank Page & "Cannot Access" ~ it is a miracle that after hours of tries that the Witch School website shows up for a few moments ~ there are no sound functions at all & absolutely no function of my computer when it is not in SAFE MODE. My computer is still continually being attacked by viruses & it cannot install any Anti~Virus or Internet Security ~ All fires are infected corrupted beyond saving.

Sadly... My Computer In Its Condition Will Not Accept The Re~Install CD~ROM Disks!
Only Very Rarely Will My Computer's SAFE MODE Function At ALL. Otherwise, It Does
Not Function At ALL. Windows Won't Even Load! When I Rarely Am Able To Get Onto
Witch School In SAFE MODE I Can Do Very Little Here! I Cannot Send Or Answer ANY Emails
In My Inbox Here ~ Nor Can I Accept Friend Requests Etc! I Hope People Still Send Me
Friend Requests Because I Can Accept Them When I Get A New Computer & Make Sure
That it Is Well Protected!


My Only Option Is To Buy A New Computer ~ Which I Cannot Afford Right Now.

Well, time to start saving money...

I wonder if those little laptops, those that are really small, would be in your financial means... Some are the same size as a book, and here in Canada they range 200-400$ sometimes, so I guess in US it would be the same price window... Anyway I hope you can find something :)

I use AVG free software and its great..

Can you take your battery out of the computer? Virus has to have that energy connection so if you pull your battery you might beable to whip it clean.

You are loved, dear Magickal Hummingbyrd!
If you are working in Safe Mode, then maybe not all the files are corrupted. There could still be hope for it!
Have you tried putting the disk in then shutting the computer down, then restarting it with the disk inside? Then go into Safe Mode and see if it will let you start with the disk instead of safe mode. You might be able to uninstall then reinstall Windows that way. Just a suggestion.

I would highly recommend you get a hold of Avast! Anti-Virus software to try iunstalling it onto the computer, also I would recommend, Malwarebytes, however, if your system is SO infected, it might do what it did to me when tyring to install and delete the exe file during install. I fixed it and got rid of about twenty buggers on my system, malware and trojans mostly and Avast is FREE and so is Malwarebytes, both are excellent programs and don't interfere with normal computer operation.

Avast will scan as you surf the net and warn you when something is attempting to make a connection to your system, or malware or a virus or something and you can deal with it immediately rather than it being infected.

Hope this helps!

EDIT: If you can't get into your main system other htan in Safe Mode, that is a real problem. Safe Mode, by nature, shuts down everything not essential such as USB ports, CD Drives, sound, network, etc. It runs the bare minimum in video controls and OS functions so you can figure out a problem and irradicate viruses. The only thing I can suggest is going to someone who knows computers who can hopefully access the virus sites and get rid of them without losing your precious files.

If you can get the system clean, then I would HIGHLY recommend getting Avast! free installed, you just need to register it once a year and it is free, and it iwll automatically update it's database if you are online and auto-scan your system as you use it to prevent bugs and viruses from getting in. Still a good idea to manually scan once a month though. With Malwarebytes, also free, you have ot update it yourself and then run a scan at least once a month on your own. If you get the premium paid version it will scan alongsi9de Avast as you surf, however it is twenty bucks for that I think. Regardless, both of these tools can keep your system happy and living a long long time! Also, if you do manage to get rid of the bugs, I'd recommend a defragmentation of the hard drive. It'll help clear up some problems too.
