Please capitalize the first letter of each new sentence. Also, informations --> information[]
Non-Pagan people should not be afraid of Pagans because we aren't a violent religion. We don't teach that it is o.k. to kill people. We allow ourselves to protect ourselves from violence only.
Furthermore, Non-Pagan people don't even need to know anything about Pagan people (other than we are non-violent) unless they directly ask about it. We know our religion isn't for everyone and so we don't go preaching to a lot of people. It isn't our job.
Who are the Pagan Gods? Well, if you are Wiccan the first Goddess is the Goddess of the Moon. The three shapes of the Moon are found on the crown of our High Priestess indicating this truth. The first God is the Horned God of the Woods and Sun. If you are an Eclectic Wiccan, that means that you also have many Gods from many places in the world. All Pagan Goddesses and Gods are life affirming and of Nature even though they may be of darkness or light. Actually GOD IS NATURE. Goddesses and Gods are personifications of this truth.
Once again, I agree with Hummingbyrd, NEVER! give out your name and address or any other personal information[] out on the internet.

Permalink Reply by Rev. Aphren on December 24, 2010 at 1:15am I guess I will take a stab at this. These questions you ask are very general and I think any of us here could write several pages on just one of the questions you asked. As we all know, Wicca is a nature religion, and unlike what the Correllian Tradition calls "The Book Religions"- we as a Pagan religion place a high level of reverence on Nature. The changing of the seasons, the moving of the tides, the changing of the moon phases and the rise of the Sun and Moon are all natural things we observe and try to attune and become one with: The Natural Rhythm of life. This is the basic goal of Wicca, although Paganism at large may have a somewhat different approach to such issues, more often than not the two are grouped into one understanding.
Paganism is a group of religions which are considered to be "Pre-Christian" or "Non-Christian". In this way religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism as well as Taoism would be considered to be "Pagan". I think many of us here would consider "Paganism" to be religions indigenous to Europe, such as the religion of the Germanic Tribes of early Europe, or the pantheon of the ancient Greeks and Romans. Many of these forms of Paganism have been revived into what many consider to be "Neo-Paganism" or New Paganism, with modern adaptions. The Germanic beliefs of the old Norse Religion have been "modernized" -in a way- to the Neo-Pagan sect of Astaru to name one example. In this respect, Wicca is considered to be "Neo-Pagan." Wicca is a modern form of ancient Celtic Paganism- many would say- although it shares similarities with other forms of European Paganism. I think everyone here would agree with me when I say that I non-Pagans do not need to fear Pagans/Wiccans/Witches. (Although maybe Witches, since that word in itself has many meanings, some of which may be on the "negative side").
As John said, we are non-violent, Passive. As they say "The only thing to fear is fear itself." And obviously, what people don't understand is frightening to them, so I say, educate others on our beliefs and our religion, and there would be less to fear. Aside from that, Paganism or Wicca is nothing that should be feared, it is not dangerous. And, in my opinion, I think that many of us have become the opposite of afraid by finding Wicca or Paganism, we have lost our fear when we embarked on this path.
The God/s of Wicca and Paganism are different depending on which sect one belongs to, and it also depends on the individual person themselves. Some denominations or "traditions" of Paganism and Neo-Paganism worship a specific group of gods, while others only worship two. Still others might worship a group of Gods while they are in a group, but the individual may have their own God/s aside from the group. So- to put it simply, to speak of Wicca and Paganism, their Gods are all, and none. But to be more specific, many Wiccan traditions believe in one Female entity and one Male entity representing the opposing yet equal parts of the universe which balance it and create life.
I hope that was of some help to you. I hope your paper goes well. Although I do not think you can write it all on the basis of "interviews" or replies on a website, it may also be helpful to use book sources to gather your information.
Blessings
~Aphren
