Power of the Spoken Word

As we all know, the bards and skalds, poets and authors of times past have held sway over many minds and even been the cause of some revolutions. Well, with the helping hands of those willing to take up action in the cause. But nevermind that. I wanted to take some time to share with you all a spoken word track I performed and uploaded today. It's relevant to what we have going on today mixed with some personal experience. I'd appreciate anyone that takes the time to listen to it and give me feedback, as well as in turn providing any personal examples you may have of your own works in which you also display some sort of championed cause or spiritual belief.

Just thought I'd take the time to share my work and let you all know that there are those of us still that are mindful of what's going on in the world today. Peace be with you all. Deuces!

Powerful stuff. I appreciate the rhyme, and you voicing your opinion. [Appreciate might be a weird word to use here, but it fits the way I feel. "Like" just wasn't it.]

We are a cocky generation, that, like you said, overestimates its abilities, but at the same time underestimates how much we can really do to make the world better.

Credit goes to Ed about introducing me to the quote I borrowed concerning the year and a decade. So I'll put that out there. I slipped that in there and really enjoyed doing so.

indeed it does , and your right this world is so confused and I have been saying this for a very long time, as we reach the climax people dont know what to do, they run as if, in silent scream, no one is listening. like cattle we move, each one grazing and doing their own thing. Its all madness you see, and the Hopi predicted these's , are they right, I suppose as I watch man run aimless, what fools we are. MP
