I will be praying, I come from a christian background and do not see how people could fall for such a stupid thing, but hey its like Terry Goodkind said in his sword of truth series Wizards first rule: people are stupid, they will believe a lie either because they want it to be true or they fear it to be true. I will be sending prayers to these victims .

I hope those people will be able to pick them selves up off there feet and shake it off and come out smarter then what they were b4.. I really do and thats why im praying for them

Let's start a campaign to force Harold Camping to give all the money he scammed out of people directly to the poor.

There is little that prayer will do for the victims as they will just fall for another scam. We can't stop them because we would be interfering with their free choice to believe or not.

IM not saying stop them Im saying Pray that that the God/dess Holds them in her heart, I meen like if you dont wanna pray for the people who took this man into there hearts thats fine But I still will

and as far as fall into another scam goes Every one at one point or another will fall for a scam but hopefully they'l walk out the wiser as f
and as far as hariold camping giving the money to the poor, That would be fruitless hes most likely in a country where he cant be extrodited to the us or canada (im not sure if any canadians fell for his devil dont care atatude but i will say canada just in case)

thats why IM saying pray for the victems becuase they gave up there homes and life savings for this guy.. and for what? so he can move to the barbados to live free and not have to worry about a swingle thing in his life as i said, thats not fare, If it wernt for the fact that this doesnt directly involve me and I wasnt hurt by his deed i'd cast a spell to make him pay for what he did But that would be breakiing the wiccan reede and I am OATH bound to do no harm

FYI, I live in Canada (Quebec, more precisely), and I haven't heard of Camping's scam over here, except as a tiny line on the D-Day, with heavy skepticism laced with humour... To be honest, when some American says something like that, over up North the attitude is usually in the lines of "Here go the Americans again... They're crazy! LOL" (no offense meant, that's what I see around here...) Maybe some devouts Canadians fell for it, but not as far as some Americans have.

And under Canadian law, what Camping did is illegal, in the sense that he extorted money by making false claims. And, predicting stuff like this is close to fortune-telling, and while as a rule that law is obsolete, when you fraud people, the justice system gleefully pulls out any charge possible - so the guy would be charged with fortune-telling charges. LOL At least, if he was Canadian, that's what would happen. So, I doubt he'd come over here for protection. :D

Praying for the victims is NOT going against their free will. It's not like praying for them to change their mind... Simply pray for them to find the courage to go through this, and to learn the lessons to be learned. There is no need to pray for some conversion on their part... I'm all for giving them support, and will do so.

As for Camping... I pray that he gets... "exactly what he deserves". Nothing more, nothing less.

Im canadian too As far as fortune telling goes its compleatly legal to do predictions and fortune telling as long as youve obtained a small buisness licence in fact last i checked they seem to have gotten rid of the Psychic Licence thing in canada dont know wehen they did that but it must have been recently

But ya I dop hope those people get justice (btw he wouldnt come here as we alow people to be extrodited as a rule its very hard to do that in the barbados from what ive heard thats why hes most likely there)

You can have a psychic licence in Canada? Now that's VERY recent indeed! And a good thing, too, I'd say. :)

Harold Camping is definitely not in Canada. Why would a now-mutli-millionnaire that's 89 years old come to live in a Northern country with snow and winter etc.? Barbados is much more comfortable...

I don't think it was a scam. From what i saw, the mad old man truly belived the rapture was going to happen, and used the money to preach so. But yeah, that was pretty cruel for the fools who bought it. Let's hope they manage to live on well..
