(...) as saying she had tricked people into thinking she could treat illnesses, charging them $800 per session.
In other words, Yahoo is being misleading, using a sensationalist title to promote outrage in the witch, atheist and wiccan comunities to get more views. The correct name of the article should be "Saudi arabia executes woman convicted of fraud".

Permalink Reply by Ravyn Phoenixx on December 12, 2011 at 5:45pm While this woman most likely would have been a fraud, I think the death penalty is still a bit harsh. XD And people must realize....witchcraft carries different connotations in different countries and under various cultural contexts. to even mistake her as a "wise woman" is truly erroneous indeed.
Permalink Reply by Drakill Tannan on December 12, 2011 at 9:30pm No one is saying it isn't horrible. It's truly something to be outraged about, but it's not aimed towards witches.
Permalink Reply by Opal Adya on January 19, 2012 at 6:11am I agree. Indeed many news articles mislead us. I like to say to these people, "Grow up".
But there are many other places in the world where they really kill innocent lives. Many villages in my own country burn old and helpless ladies alive blaming them to be practicing sorcery(they might not even be practicing witchcraft). This saddens me.

Permalink Reply by Rev. SilentOwl on December 12, 2011 at 12:30pm they gave anyone the products of this accusation. I felt it was so wrong because they had no proof of her misconduct? And to kill someone with little or no evidence to speak the truth, well that is wrong. what we see is big amount of money is probably very little in exchange rate from Saudi-Arabia to United States.

Permalink Reply by Pumpkin Eater on December 13, 2011 at 4:07am This is just the tip of the iceberg of Saudi Arabia's daily crimes against humanity. Unfortunately the USA props this Feudal state up.
But the USA no longer has moral authority when it comes to crimes against Humanity. When the Obama Administration issued a pardon to George Bush and his Administration for all international war crimes.
Who does the international community look to now? Britain? Germany? Russia?
I agree
