SPAMMERS!

My dear brothers & sisters,

If I may have your attention for a moment.....
As like all other sites, Witch School gets attacked by spammers. The Staff here, really have their work cut out for them ,daily...getting rid of these people. Goddess bless our dearest Maryann! This ladies job is never ending, yet she doesn't complain. Being part of WS Front Door Greeter team..it's my job to turn these spammers in...however..they still slip through the cracks. Rest assured we do catch them in a day or two! I say all of that to say this.....
If you receive an email or comment to you page that says something like this .....
Hello dear,
My name is Miss Joy Khalifa, As I search for a nice friend and came across your contact, My mind and my heart told me to contact you for friendship, A friend who truly understand his or her friend and share their feelings together. please kindly accept my request, I believe that distance or age can never be a barrier but let love connect us because love is a bridge that connected far distance to be close to each other, I will send my pictures to you immediately I receive your reply at my email address ( joyfullkhalifa@yahoo.com ).
Your Friend,
Joy.

They use many different names, but send basically the same message!

Disregard it!!!

or if you like...put this this pic on their page! These spammers need to get the message that we have "zero tolerance" for spam , here on Witch School!

Will we ever stop them? Probably not..but we can all stand together to discourage them in their plight.

since joining i have had at least 5 spammers contacting me and thats in a week I can only imagine what job the moderators do to stop this nuance I block them but I will try and post the no spammers first :) thanks for reassuring us that you and the team are on top of it

yeah it was like that my first week too- when i told one of them they must be stupid using a ploy so universally recognized type of scam and not to write to me again, i never heard from them since.

my 2 were word for word the same and supposedly from Nigeria - except i've known 3 people from nigeria well
and English is an official language there- taught in public schools - and would not tend to be written in such an illegible manner, with such poor spelling.

Again, telling them this too probably did not work.

sorry to hear Millie , but its almost impossible to keep them out of ones mail no matter how hard we strive to protect our selves.
I was even attacked in FB as someone their loaded a hoax or virus with the Face Book logo and I thought I was doing right by protecting my page as well as all that visited their .. needless to say I disabled it and searched every program I could find but it was when I contacted Fb that they inturn fix this . but it was indeed a real pain .. and as they say nothing is really protected when it come to the net . sorry to hear .
