So...

I have been doing a lot of blogs, each is supposed to discuss common
wiccan topics, from my own point of view... an a sort of "go to" guide
for people who share a lot of the same opinions as I, or for newcomers.

MY BLOG HERE

I have covered (to some degree):
  1. Spell Writing
  2. The Elements
  3. Shielding
  4. Deeper Learning
  5. The Wiccan Rede
  6. The Law of Return
  7. Meditation
  8. Compassion
  9. Raising Energy
  10. Teens in Wicca
  11. Cleansing & Recharging
  12. Body Image
These aren't ALL of my blogs, but  a good portion of them...

Topics I plan on discussing are:

  1. Symbolism and Symbols in Paganism
  2. 10 things every wiccan should have or do
  3. Wiccan Faith is times of loss or hardship
  4. Wiccan Research (studying towards your path)
  5. Magic; Sympathetic and Contagious
  6. Solitary without loneliness
  7. The Wiccan Afterlife
  8. Wiccan Crafting (with scissors and glue)
  9. Altar Crafting and Sacred Spaces
  10. The Ritual Circle
  11. Pagan Parenting
  12. Tough Topics and Wiccan Ethics; Abortion, Euthanasia, Death Row, Adultery...
  13. The Role of Magic in Religion
  14. Building Family Traditions in Wicca
  15. Identity in Paganism
  16. Witch in the "Kitch"
  17. Science and Magic
  18. The Magical Book; Grimiores, Spellbooks, Books of Shadows and More!
  19. In defense of the "Bunnies"
  20. In defense of "Tradition"

OK so that is some to whet your appetite! But the big question is...
What else, and what next? I would love suggestions for topics! If you
don't have anything new... give me an idea where I should start next! I
want to hear from you, my freinds and readers, what are you curious to
hear about?

As always, my articles will be open to comments, and you may link back
to them  or repost them if you wish, provided you site my name, and
keep my words IN CONTEXT!

Blessed BE!

Wicca for Parents? Wicca for Single Moms? Teaching suggestions to children?

One of the harder things I think Pagans have to accept is how Paganism relates to today. Instead of living in the past, why not the present? Maybe you could do some personal interpretation on Paganism in urban environments, which I think we could use more information on.

Wicca being such a multi-faceted faith in cultural terms (what with everyone making it eclectic and mixing in so much) you may want to do a full length thesis on combining culture and faith; how the two are separate and give cases where they're synonymous. That could be a fun one. I know I'd enjoy seeing it. You may also wish to tackle the idea of when "too much" eclecticism can be more harmful than good, or if you think such a thing is even possible.

Just a few toss out suggestions.
Great Ideas!

I could do one like "Wicca for Modern Day"- dicussing our modern techno-urban-innovative culture and wicca.

My pagan parenting will try to cover multiple parenting styles...Being that I am wiccan, it will probably be slanted that way anyways...

Thanks Herr Wulf!

Maybe Pagan Community ethics? Is that too bold?
Some will think it is, others will not. I think each faith in Paganism has its own ideas on ethics further broken down by personal interpretation and just how well we live up to such things. Like in Heathenism, I may show hospitality, but I will not walk with open arms towards all I see. I also try and have a sense of right and wrong even when out in public. I still love that "Fuck You Mr. Bitey" chapter in the Kick-Ass movie. I highly recommend that scene for viewing on getting a good feeling of justice and how we should strive to live. But, Heathenism is a faith that requires courage. Some faiths do not encourage this but selfish, self-serving behavior. Guess it depends again on individuality here. Just some thought.

Do YOU think it's too bold?
Touche!! :) I am here to learn so I tend to read more than I contribute...unless it is a subject that I am solid on. I am excited just to see these blogs when they come.
I am still writing my course of pagan ethics... but that subject is to large for a blog (I feel)

If you all are wondering, my ethics class is not "how to" or a doctrine on how to be or act ethical, but instead is a discussion and analysis of different pagan ethics systems and their practical application...

When it is finished, I encourage you all to take the course! Howver, my bolg is a little to small to encompass such a large and "bold" topic!

Blessed Be Mara!
Thank you!

I am really interested to read "Witch in the Kitch" and "Solitary without loneliness." You have the talent lady!! You should test your ideas here and then combine them to make a book to rival Silver R. You can do it! Blessed Be *Mara
Megan as always thought provoking and in your face... LOVE YOU THOUSANDS. I cant wait, but it seems I neglect to read all your blogs as I am missing some - so will have to go stalk you again...
Play nice........she has had enough stalking I would think. ;) Try just going to her profile and looking at her blogs. No stealing pictures though! That is where she draws the line. lol!!!
hehehe...

You guys crack me up!
I like the format of your blog teachings.

I would like to see,

familiars, spirit guides and totem animals.

The role of native American spiritual and magickal ways in Correllian Wicca.
This last bit John may be a question best addressed to Rev. Don. It's worth a shot at the least, and maybe a vlog will come from it.
