Oy Vey, Are people just unable to see reality.
I am amazed at how silly people can be this is so Typical of people in charge.
Why is it that those who DO NOT WORK for a living ,those whose only freakin job is to make laws (in beetwen partying and prostitutes) and hopefully protect us are completely incapable of making even the most simple of decisions.
We as Humans must recognize our own power because these idiots of the so called "upper class" do no posses the basic skills needed to function for us or for themselves.

This silly law could outlaw all of religion in general including Atheists if they are proven wrong. Can I start a LAWSUIT against an atheist if I had a Spiritual experience??
After all the atheist was wrong in his or her prediction??!!!!!!!!!!!

While I am appalled by what I read about that - I came across this article yesterday - I am wondering what can we do from a distance? Every time I read about discrimination against our path, I wonder this, sitting here in my comfortable US-living room, in relative protection from stuff like this. Any ideas?

I remember reading of a similar thing, I remember vaguely

What I remember was that a bunch of Witches United to destroy Hitler or as you said create an energy field ,I read the story once somewhere then lost it but I think it is cool that you bring it up I have wondered about this story.

I knew I heard this story before somewhere.

Yes I am still up I can't sleep tonight I had an issue with a friend that attempted to end her life she did not even call anyone or leave a note she was really just doing it,Making Her closing arguments if you will. and was accidentally discovered.
She was not even doing the 'Attention Grab' suicide she pretty much just killed herself and was saved from it accidentally. Her roommate was not supposed to be there, she was supposed to be away for a few days I think but came back for something and discovered her on the floor
So I admit I am very sad tonight I lived with this girl for 2 years she was fun but tragic there is no talking to her when she gets depressed she will not see the blessings around her she will not see that she can and must end the victim status she lives in she just does not believe that she owns any power. She Awaits Happiness from Without not from within..
All is well we will see this through she is alive and in a hospital now. Blessed Be
Forgive me for going to deep It has been a weird 2 days and I am just venting.

I was so tired when I wrote that statement, it just sort of leaked out of me.

In my reality now I can't even imagine being that person I have truly grown passed that stage. But I am not her she has to find a way.

Thank you Ruthann, I used to see my grandpa's ghost when I was a kid ,
The Deaths of those we love are part of life, it is made a bit sadder when that death seems to have no reason. Or even worse a bad or worthless reason.
One of the things that makes this conversation "ON topic" Is that what I believe in is important.
When I received the phone call about My friend It was from a very Catholic girl her cousin and best friend, our metaphysical discussions did peacefully connect if you know what I mean.

I am a witch and I love my religion and it is Important as life and death issues are. So when something serious happens that is the time when I feel even closer to Goddess.
I do have fun and I do play a little bit but I am very passionate about our Destiny as Humans and passionate about our destiny with the Goddess
the always attacked unrecognized female energy.
Why is the world so afraid of its own Mother? Is a strange and funny question.

Thanks, I was not aware of that. Makes me feel better about "just" sending healing light into any direction that needs it. I will think about this once a month gathering in cyberspace thing a little bit, and see what I can come up with - anyone good at writing blessings and prayers for such a thing around here?

jews achieve pretty much sitting in US livinng rooms.
what we should do is to form a union of pagans and wiccans, lobby in congress, this can be averted. otherwise we can insist on parellel laws such as punisment for people doing economic forecast on T.V and like. then ths law will never see the light of the day
btw this is not for one man, sparrow but for full community in general.

I completely agree with the idea of a PaganWitchy Lobby,Union or group.
If we are to be properly represented than we must have NUMBERS.
They will not listen to one Little Sparrow but they might listen to a whole flock!!

But yes I agree We need respectable vocal people, we need Numbers ,The People who make important decisions that are in power Must know our numbers and must feel the pressure of a Pagan/Witch Lobby.

They must know that we are not a demographic that is going to be pushed around.
This will require, Good articulate representatives of our positions as well as needing money and strong organization.
We are Brothers and Sisters as Pagans,witches, etc... I do not care if you are Gardnerian or Alexandrian or Correllian or eclectic or whatever..
We have Commonalities and should Unite under a common Banner you and I both know that all of our traditions combined is a pretty Big number WE HAVE THE POWER.
WE HAVE THE NUMBERS Now let our voices be heard. -Blessed Be
