Sympathetic Magick
I know what symbolizes what. I can chose the right colors, ingredients, charms, anything to make a ritual work.
Planetary Magick
I have a lot of education on the Roman Planets and how to interact with them. I know a lot about the mathematics and psychology of magick.
Hypnotism
I figured it out early and know how to induct anyone. I can even do it through the typed medium.
My Craft Weaknesses
Herbalism - I've never been particularly good at it. I know the associations but have not chosen to spend a lot of time in the garden.
Crafting - like herbalism, I've been more prone to use a computer rather than construction paper.
My Greatest Powers
"Revelation" allows me to speak on any subject and reveal some great truth about it. But that truth is always mixed with a small lie.
"Star-Making". This power came later. If I become interested in someone or something, they win the championship game that year, they become famous or rich, they get incredibly lucky, or people like them too. If I hate something, it becomes hated by a multitude.
My Vices
"Talkative" - I can't shut up. I am unable to do it. I'm also likely to stretch the truth a bit. Why? Just to see if you'll buy what I'm selling. Eventually I come clean with the truth.

i took full advantage of these traits, when younger, now i don't. It is not a good thing to persuade people to your bidding when you know you are wrong or taking advantage of them.
My son is even better than i was, he will leave you dazed and confused and wondering, what the hell just happened, i think i just got conned, and the evil eye. LOL

It's pretty easy for an Empath who doesn't know any better to talk people into and out of things!! I found Machiavelli in high school, and realized I could DO what he talked about! As I got a LOT older, I realized that it wasn't 'right' or 'fair', and mended my ways a bit - LOL! I was never very interested in making money, though, so I am poor as a church mouse, like most people - LOL!
I'm particularly good at writing - both original writing and Ritual composition. I have a talent for synthesis and a gift for being able to make the most off-the-wall stuff sound reasonable, as well as being persuasive about people understanding one another.
Not into Herbal Magick - yet - it's on my list of things to study, as is it's associated Kitchen Magick.
I dabble in Astrology and Tarot and Numerology - I never was formally educated an any of them, so I consider it 'dabbling'. i learn more when i need to answer questions with any of them.
As far as actual 'crafting' of things, I sew, both flat pieces and soft sculpture as well as clothing.
I'm a born Organizer - i can bring Order out of Chaos anywhere, with anything.
I wage a constant battle against the inborn arrogance of a First Decanate Leo, with a double Libra - both Ascendant and Moon. Being also born in a Year of the Dragon only reinforces this, I'm afraid - LOL! One of my sons, also born under the Dragon, puts it this way - "It's not that I think I'm BETTER than other people - I KNOW I am, but I'm polite enough not to tell people so!" LOL!! That being said, I'm very careful to stay on the sidelines and be a 'support person', as being in charge tends to point up and enhance my natural arrogance, which I try to avoid. I KNOW I'm arrogant - I don't need to become a petty tyrant to prove it! LOL!
Permalink Reply by MoonJoy on Magical strengths: candle magic (includes paper burning), oil making, bindrunes (that one is new). Tarot reading, too. Also, I'm able to create a new spell, on the fly, within five minutes flat, in case of emergency. Visualization.
Magical weaknesses: ...anything else... LOL Oh, and I suck at keeping a meditation routine. And as I suffer from an anxiety disorder, at times my mind goes in circles and I build myself up into quite a state, needlessly.
My greatest power: none that I noticed.
My vice: I'm a messy type - so yes, my magical areas tend to become messy LOL. Also, I tend to have a temper (although I'm working on that!).
