1) Tell her to chill
2) Tell her that your religion is not -her- concern
3) Avoid her noticing anything related to your religion

You ask your god or your goddess to bind that hate and hostility, to seal it with their (your God or Goddess) authority, and then ask to bless her with understanding and peace.

1.You can do this in a visual form such as for example visualize the hate, and hostility, put it in a box.

2.You can also do a candle and visualize the hate, and hostility as mud all over your house, body, or just every were, and visualize all the mud going into this candle. If you are not sure as to what color; white is always universal, dress it with banishing oil or make your own. Light

3.Remember never doubt ,believe, and have hope, trust me it will happen for you.

4.As long as you have always shown love and respect to your deity they will always protect you.

Trust me, I know how you feel a year ago my mother came to visit my home and highly criticized everything (not to mention my husband and his beliefs as well) let just say the energy of the house did not like that one bit :-) without no argument no hostility the house make her visit surprisingly short, NOT US! LOL

Throw her a curve and remind her your religion is older than hers. Just kidding...well maybe. Do you think she feels separated from you because of your differing religious beliefs? Maybe she feels left out. Try sharing some basic beliefs if she is receptive. There is a Christian Witch Community on the web that might be helpful and you may find some common ground with your mom.

to me this is a tug at the heart , perhaps she does not understand and she has been lead to believe in media, and believe me their is years of it out their. does your mom follow a system? some say that they do but I find that they dont really know themselfs, its what their lead to believe in other words taught and all of us are taught many things that does not make them a done deal. look at school, most of us are taught many things only to find out later that the books and teachings were wrong. so perhaps its time you give her a 101 course so she better understands, that is, if she is opened minded and can see ' spirit ' as all things not just man and woman. ask her if she would be willing to learn with you ?
that way you would both have something in common and could better understand each other and opening the mind is never a bad things it deepens it and gives one a wider perspective of looking at things. I wish you well dear, ask the Goddess to give her understanding and let her see so mote it be !
