I would be interested and I am sure others in the Southern Hemisphere haveare doing the First Degree course, is to have it adapted to the Southern Hemisphere. I am on Lesson 3 and although it now talks about the different Sabbats and Esbats the dates do not correspond with our seasons, even though many from the Northern Hemisphere will just say change the wording, that is not what I want to do, I would rather have it flow with the reading so I can really get into the flow of it for my own learning and not have to keep changing the timing if you get what I mean?
Permalink Reply by Witch School on We are planning a Witch School Australia, but currently we do have a South Africa Witch School which has the course material in a Southern Hemisphere Style.
Permalink Reply by Moon Shadow on Oh OK, so should I be logging into the South African School instead of the standard U.S. then until such time when the plans go through with the Australian School. Is there any differences besides the correspondences and sabbats?

Permalink Reply by Sarasvati devi dasi on Some of the classes, particularly some of the older ones, are not as consistent with the formatting and style. Getting someone to copyedit them--purely a style re-write, rather than changing material--would make these classes easier to learn from if their lessons are in a readable format. The First/Second Degree classes, for example, have been very well-done from what I have seen so far, but other classes like "Living the Wiccan Life" are of lesser quality. Since some of these classes are required for clergy, it would be nice to see them brought up to the higher standards of the main course.
Also, some parts of the website seem to not be updated when others are, and it can be confusing to sort out what is accurate information when you find conflicting things in multiple locations. For example, I have seen different clergy requirements on different pages of the website.
