Not by what the creator actually is, but by how we call the creator... see I can't even make a good sentence because of that! x]
For many of us, we believe that the God and Goddess are aspects of that one creator right? So we say Him or Her for both, but what are they together? Like for example, with Christians they believe God is Him. So what do we call our's who is genderless yet real as well?? Asking because saying It would seem kinda offensive, even if it may be true. Should a new word be made then if I've got a point? (because I really don't know if this is one lol)
lol Sorry if this is a bad topic I couldn't find the answer... x]

Merry Meet Alycia!
When I think of my creator, I say Higher Power, Spirit, the All. Don't know if that answers your question or not. More often I separate the Spirit into my Patron Deities, God Cernunnos & Goddess Cybele. I hope this helps!
Bright Blessings~

i personnally think that the only reason why we seperate them into male and female aspects because thats the only thing us as humans can understand. I dont nessacarily believe that they are male and female i just think thats the way we know how to describe the aspects we see in the lord and lady...weird huh. Lol. I hope you find the answr your looking for.
Sorry I posted badly lol.. Like for example, the creator, Great Spirit, Higher Power, All is genderless right? For God we say He or Him, and for Goddess we say She or Her because they are feminine and masculine, separate/ aspects of this creator. So how would we say He/She or Him/Her for the creator since it's genderless? Only asking because saying It would seem kinda rude right?
Merry Meet to all. I see Goddess as "All That Is"...and the God as "Awareness of It All". Our bodies are Goddess and our enlightened consciousness is God. The two join together again and again, life after life, and the Wheel turns 'round. The two are "non-dual" as the Buddhist say, never separate...our bodies simply becoming more or less subtle, as we move around a wheel larger than can be spoken of by even the most well versed philosophers or mystics. Infinite and eternal...the Creatrix (God-dess). Both the creator and the creation. This is the Wheel and the Mind which perceives it. "As above, so below"...Peace and Love to all. )O(
What about saying "Mother/Father/God"? I've heard this used many, many times.

I would suggest that you not get hung up on the words to describe Deity. All of our descriptions such as gender and attributes are man-made so that we can understand and relate to Deity. Use the words that have the most meaning for you. After all, does Deity really care what we call it? Does Deity need our labels to exist? My opinion is no, Deity does not. Deity does and will exist no matter how we feel about it or what we call it.

Namaste,
Beth
