Wild Dreams or More?

Ok, so don’t automatically think: “Megan has gone loopy”. I seldom have dreams I remember, and of those that I do, I practically never have dreams that strike me has “prophetic”. However last night I did, and combined with the circumstances surrounding it, I am thoroughly weird-ed out, but nevertheless curious.


Ok, last night I watched a scary movie with my husband. I am one of those people that get worked up after scary movies, so they make me paranoid. We watched a few lighthearted tv shows afterwards and I felt ok, so we went to bed, business as usual. Anyways, in the middle of the night, something triggered my paranoia and I started to get the anxious worry that I was going to have nightmares or attract negative energy to myself by freaking out. Well, in these times I often perform a short “ritual” with myself.

I grounded and released all the negative energy in the room saying “I cleanse this room of all negativity”. Then I built a protective shield (bubble) around me and my family. I then said “I consecrate this room, house, and land in the name of the goddess, and god, let her wisdom and his strength create a barrier so that only love and peace may enter.” Or something (it was like 2:00 am). Even then, which normally would put me at ease, I felt a little worried if my barrier was strong ENOUGH… mostly to keep out my own paranoia, so I pumped more, and more energy into my shield. I could feel the hot buzziness of it, and I was thoroughly drained, so I did my best to ground my internal energy without taking down my external shield.

Now keep in mind I have don’t this little nighttime “ritual” dozens of times will no more affects than feeling a little bit more tired than normal in the morning, usually it is a very effective way to give me some worry free hours of sleep, although light. Anyways, the energy in my bubble was strong enough that it made it hard for me to stay asleep. I was no longer paranoid but the “buzziness” made me toss and turn.

Finally I dozed off. I got to that point of sleep where you are consciously aware that you have fallen asleep, but you are not quite to REM. Anyways, suddenly I felt “taken a hold of”- not necessarily in a mean, evil way… just not in control of myself. In fact the presence felt very warm and not malicious at all. And I heard myself speaking, but the words were not coming out of my head, I was just speaking them for someone else. Then I was hearing the through my ears. Also, one of the words is not a word I have ever heard and certainly not one I would use. What was said is this:


I then woke up, my daughter Rhiannon was stirring. I grounded the room and went out in my living room. I would have asked my Husband if he heard me speaking… but he was outside shoveling the driveway to get ready for work. I assume if I WAS speaking out loud, he was outside during that time, conveniently. Hahaha! After that I decided just to wake up, which is not normal for me, I usually would be asleep for 3 more hours. Oh well, anyways… If it was a dream, it was freakin’ weird, if not, doubly so! I would love to hear any ideas about it. Maybe I just want to get it out there, I don’t know. If this means anything to you or strikes a tone, tell me. Thanks!
