Well, the "Chicken Little" story has some truth to it. Beacause some philosopher had forseen the future; so therefore the sky will fall. I don't consider myself a chicken, but if the world is going to end like it says, well I really don't think we can do anything about it. We can't run, nor can we hide; it will come and it will happen, just stay in tune with your creator!
There is absolutely ZERO evidence that the Mayans predicted anything would occur on Dec. 21, 2012. It occurs near a major solstice, which could be why they chose to stop it. It could also be that the guy who was doing the calendar got sick and died. It could also be that they were invaded and killed. No one knows why the calendar was stopped. It's almost silly that we're having this convo, IMHO...
The "Chicken Little" story has no bearing on this situation. JMO
