Rosemary, garlic definitely doesn't keep vampires away. In addition to the tips below, if in doubt ever, cast a circle!
Carrying obsidian around with you does reflect all bad enegies back to the sender or if you wish, into the Universe where those will be transformed into energies that are needed elsewhere.
Fear is what harmful spirits thrive on, so just remember that your Guardian Angel will always be there to repel unwanted intruders, sometimes without you even knowing they were around in the first place.
There are a number of books around on psychic protection, and one thing that I learned is , when approached by a bad one, to conciously project , for example, a mental image of the Medusa, or a Dragon towards the one causing a disturbance. It works!

If anyone is having a problem with a malignant spirit, the best thing to do is just ask your Higher self/Guardian Angel for help.
Also, burn some cleansing insence like Cannabis or Dragon's Blood.
To seal off any portals, get into the zone as it were and perform a reverse (banishing) pentagram with suitable vocals of your own choosing.
You know, I have been implementing some Feng Shui principles in and around my home for a while now. Spirits of all kinds are attracted to one when the energy body has been cultivated and one is becoming more aware as it is when we walk on our different paths, but the harmful ones do not like : A fishtank facing the entrance to your home , bells being jingled every now and again, incense fumigations, no clutter in the house and most of all, a good and strong faith in oneSelf and one's abilities.Oh yes, and a toad statue facing the front door - also try a Bakua, or protective talisman which reflects all harmful energies away quite easily. Just be sure to hang this facing away from the house towards the street and never inside the house!
Also remember that there are many Spirits who only wish to have contact, are lonely, or may in fact be wishing to help you.

My Problem I've been having is to do with the Man who built this house and hated my husband .. the man's spirit has been using my body to yell at my husband because I do not have any real reason to yell at my hubby ... other than sagging myself and the house how do I get a spirit to stay out of my body ...

Oh and as I've put on here before a real good way to keep spirits out of the house for a few days is burn garlic powder in the frying pan they just hate the smell ... put a bit of oil on the bottom of the pan and as if your going to make scrambled eggs I add my spices first .. then the eggs ... so if you love Garlic this is a Great way to have Garlic in your eggs and get rid of the spirits for a few days at least ... just let the Garlic get to a lightly burned stage in the pan then add the eggs it's enough to get the smell though the house and have tasty garlic eggs ***

Good Day *** I've not been here for a while... but On The Bad Smell... If it was gas it would only smell if your running out of gas not when it's a full tank ... if you have a leak someplace ... then you need to find out where the lines run for the gas ... but it does not sound like you have a gas problem if it does not happen a lot ... It might be that you have a Vortex some where in the house; I.E. Bedroom which at times negative Spirit might come into the house or room so what you need to do and what I've done is put a lot of Cleansed Crystals for Protection .. and you might want to sage the house more often too !!! as I've been doing the same... (it does not close the Vortex but keeps the Negative Spirits out or moving away as fast as they can), ... as in once a week, it should take care of the problem... I wish you well with your problem ...

Zombis are actually real, "live" people and not a fantasy character from some movie or other.
The Boko,Sorcerer or Magickal practitioner who "uses both hands", ie. works both healing and harmful magick, selects his victim and gives the unfortunate person a potion which has the effect of rendering him in a comatose state.
This is usually given in water or food as a powder.
The ingredients of this potion are many and varied, however they include Toad's venom, the bark of certain trees which are extremely poisonous, Dumb Cane ( Dieffenbachia spp.)sap, and Wild Cucumber, with insect parts and so on.
The victim is now on the way to becoming a Zombi. Although in a comatose state, he is fully concious as he is pronounced dead and buried alive.
The trauma of this ordeal usually has a massive psychological effect on the victim, and when he is "raised from the dead" a few days later, terrified and in a heavily - drugged state, the new Zombi is given a psychoactive drug in syrup form, called "Concombre Zombi", which maintains the drugged state of mind. Now, the Zombi is controlled by the sorcerer and usually ends up becoming an agricultural slave of sorts.
This is an example of basic Black magic and is very harmful to the victim. Something that Pagan Witches would NEVER do!

Is anyone interested in Zombies? I watched Pirates of the Caribbean the other day, and my interest was re-kindled.If anyone wishes, I can shed some light on them and even how to make one of your very own! HAHAHAHAHA !!!!!
