Thanks to every one who answered my question about my friend and her "haunted" house! I have discussed all of this information with her and she is currently deciding how she wants to proceed. Again, thanks to everyone and their helpful suggestions.

@Kimberly~ yes I have, and its one of the great reasons I have converted into Green Witchery. I recommend to you, using Sage smudge stick to rid of any and letting them know that the house is yours and must abide by your judgement. Sage is used by Native Americans and now many took that adaption to use them for ridding spirits especially negative ones.

I love your thought of calling down Kwan Yin, for help and healing, she is very useful since its within their traditions. Try the blessing of Kwan Yin first (there is a water blessing which you can take your pick on using) I am giving you the water blessing of Kwan Yin. I don't believe Kwan Yin herself has any spells of healing so I am asking you to call down Mulhalmoni who is the healing goddess, with water which makes the water blessing very good to use which a water healing spell will be posted below the water blessing of Kwan Yin

The water blessing is given to the world by Kwan Yin and the Ascended Masters. The word "water" may be replaced with "food" or anything else. It can be ended with whatever anyone likes to use in their own religion, whether it is Amen, Om, So Be It, Namaste, or whatever you choose.

Using your hands to bless the water, sense the energy that is coming down through the crown, into the heart, out through the hands and into the water. Hold it for a little while as though you would a baby. As you hold it, recite the above blessing.

The water can be used and it will bless any amount of water it is added to. You can take this water and disperse it. One ounce of this water in approximately seven or eight ounces will be plenty. This is a magnificent healing force. Take some blessed water and pour it into river, lake, or ocean near you to help heal the planet.

--white candle sea salt
--healing oil such as carnation, violet, sandalwood, or narcissus
Light the candle, and by the candle's light run a tub of very warm water.
Cast some salt into it. Add a few drops of healing oil of your choice and then
step into the bath. Relax.
Feel the warm salted water sinking into your pores, through your skin, sterilizing and
healing the sick portions of your body. Visualize the sickness leaving your body and
entering the water. When you feel that the sickness has entered the water,
pull the plug and let the water drain out. Stay in the bath while it is draining and chant:
The sickness flows out of me,
Into the water, into the sea.
Wait until the tub is completely drained before you stand up.
Then take a shower to remove the last traces of the sickness - laden water.
Repeat whenever needed to speed your bodies recovery.

Kimberly Hill----I bought a haunted house. I lived in it for 16 years because I couldn't afford to sell it and buy another. It was VERY haunted with numerous spirits from many eras.
Smudging with white sage helps......as well as sea salt in EVERY corner---including closets, shelves,attics,stairs,etc. Do this as you hold a burning sage stick and ask for a blessing and the spirits to never return.make sure every window is open as well as the doors so the spirits can leave!!! hanging a mirror on a wall directly in line with the front door helps repel evil spirits from returning.
In my house the negative spirits left, but the harmless spirits & residual energies remained.
It did work in my newly built house though.
I did research about my haunted house & it was built on sacred native american ground----not Indians but 1st peoples as they are referred to, it also was a house that made & sold booze during prohibition---lots of murders in the basement!!! in the 40's a man was killed the driveway by a load of coal being dumped on him when the truck came to deliver it & the brake failed, then a young man hung himself upstairs as a teenager, and an old lady in a wheelchair who had a red striped cathaunted it as well as a young blonde lady in a long blue taffeta gown. All those that remained became "friends" of mine. I could see & hear them---my daughters could too.
I was told some weren't really ghosts---just left over energy. Like the teenage suicide victim----I would hear the furniture moving around upstairs---hear the music playing, my windows would rattle the music was so loud....the silence-----over & over again...
I tried having various people help me to clear them away---it never worked.
then when I tried selling it---it would never sell. I sold it lease option to a friend. she moved out in 2 months because she claimed it was haunted LOL
matress would be dripping blood.....live plants would die,2 liter bottle of soda would be 3/4 empty & bottle sucked in----but the seal wasn't cracked LOL
I had to give the house to the bank because it never did sell in 8 years!!!! even at a super low price. I drive past it now & sometimes see a dark face in the upstairs window looking out----a face I don't recoginze as a spirit of my house :(

Does anyone here have experience in dealing with spirits? I have a friend who is growing more and more convinced that her home is haunted. They have lived there for a little over a year now and there are strange occurrences going on in their house.

Nothing bad has happened as of yet, but my friend says she gets really creeped out when she spends any length of time in the basement and that she has lots of feelings like there is someone in the room with her when she is alone. This isn't exactly my area of expertise, but the one time I did actually visit the house (she doesn't live in the same town as me) I did notice that the energy in the house doesn't feel like it belongs to my friend and her family. I have known her and her husband for almost 20 years, and their children are between the ages of 7 and 10. It has gotten to the point where the children are reporting seeing things.

Does anyone have any words of advice or wisdom? My friend is uncomfortable in her own home and has recently begun looking to move.

Does anyone have a healing spell? It is for a little boy who is suffering from seizures and the medical community has no answers. His last one lasted nearly an hour and his heart stopped twice. He is only 17 mos. and has had this problem before he turned a year. His mother is Korean so I was thinking of calling on Kuan Yin.
Any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. And anything u might like to do to help will be welcomed also.

Constance, I would prefer to do a protection spell on your property then do a spell against another person... I definitely agree to run something around the perimeter of your property... I would look into protection spells and into comfort spells so that you can relax in your own home again...
