Cosmic hotline

In my last blog I revealed that I had asked a question and someone 'out there' had answered it.  So in awe was I of this cosmic hot line that I didn't want to be a bother and ask anything mundane or insignificant to test it out.  I waited until I had a really deep philosophical question to try it out again.  It was not about totem animals but, it does have puppies in it. 

I had just finished reading, "The Red Tent," about the Hebrew Jacob and his many wives.  Here is the excerpt from my dream journal,

"I asked for it to be revealed to me if sexual fidelity to one's mate is a Universal spiritual law or a man made law.  Last night I dreamed that I was standing at the bar in my kitchen picking up puppies, chopping off thier tails and tossing them in a pile.  I was crying but explaining that this has to be done."

Now, first let me say that I have always abhorred the practice of cutting off puppy dog's tails.  I knew this was my answer but, had no idea how to interpret it.  I called a very wise witch that I know and she was able to tell me without any hesitation.

She laughed and told me that the puppy dog tails I was casting away represented all the penises (nails and snails and pupppy dogs tails) that I have never experienced(I was a virgin when I got married.)  And, while I am sad about this, I am explaining that all those penises have to go, so it must be my spiritual truth(I said she was wise.) 

Once again I was thrilled that my question was answered and also thrilled that my guides have a sense of humor, but now my question was, why is this information revealed in symbolism and parables?  Still, not wanting to be a bother, I researched this one.

Not everyone is at the same place on the pathway to reunite with the Divine.  Jesus spoke in parables so that only those who were ready to hear and benefit from his messages would understand what he was saying.  Blessed Be!!!  Gaia'l
