Someone I know wants to do a spell this weekend-- Its like a payback or a reap what you sew spell, should we avoid this for now? I would appreciate your input on this.

Comment by Brain on November 23, 2011 at 9:03pm: When Mercury goes retrograde things dealing with comunication goes down, its a time when any thing under the rulership of mercury will go crazy, contracts, things break down, lack of comunication. in my case mail will get lost, I have have car problems on ocassion. Lack of clients or students. By way of a prevous tradition I followed I learned spells and such to lessen the effects which helps. Such as a 7 day candle dressed with an oil thats under the rulership of mercury. Theres more to it but I'm not at liberty to give all the info but theres a hint that may help if you get effected by the retrograde cycle. But for some reason Mercury retrograde always has a strong influences on me even thoe I don't have it in my astrological chart.

I haven't been on for awhile and was checking up on posts when I saw your questions: (1) I am currently enrolled in the First Degree class and on lesson 11... almost done :) I have enjoyed the lessons... I think they are very informative and helpful. I've been an Eclectic Solitary Witch for over 10 years but I love to learn whenever I can and these lessons have be wonderful. I recommend purchasing the book that goes along with the course so you can work out of the book when you can't go online. There are some great exercises in the lessons too. (2) I am actually in Payson and cannot travel outside of town... my vehicle is not trustworthy to do so, so gatherings in Tucson and Mesa/Phx are pretty much out of the question for me... unfortunately.
