my inspiration is nature, and the divine. Also my family and life questions inspire me. My art is my conversation with my surroundings. It is where I can ask those deeper, more evocative questions. I love to use a lot of symbolism in my artwork and leave a little bit left for my viewer to question. My art expresses both my light and dark sides, because i think we all do a dance with ourselves in this manner. I love to try to decode the hidden messages in others artwork. If you look at a painting, sculpture, or installation, you can gleen a lot about the maker, and hopefully a little about yourself. I love seeing all of your creations!
I felt my response was lacking so i am going to add to it. Nature has a big influence over what my turns out to be. The reason it has such a big influence is because it is always changing and if you see it one way another person will see it diferently just like art. Another thing that has an influence on my art would be other peoples artwork. Mostly because something that someone else does will give ideas of what i want to draw/make next. I also have to agree with what Megan said that everyone's art has little aspects of there personalities. I know each thing that i draw shows some of my personality whether i plan for it to be like that or not.
