Everyone has those favourite books you read over and over again. What are some of yours? Feel free to include non fantasy as well, if you desire. Some of mine are the Anita Blake series, Harry Potter, the Vampire Chronicles, Necroscope series, and The Hobbit.

My favorite books are: Harry Potter, Outlander series, Darkness Chosen, Lords of the Underworld, Vampire Kisses, Hpuse of Night, Twilight for some reason, and countless others.
I have a very long list of favorites, but my Top 3 are probably:

1. 1984 by George Orwell
2. Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
3. Harry Potter by J.K Rowling
I never understand the whole Twilight fad. The plot line is minimal, in my opinion. The characters are two dimensional. Bella is a Mary Sue with no personality who falls in love with a sparkly stalker pedophile (think of the age difference, people!) for no reason what so ever really. Also, what vampire would CHOOSE to be in high school after a century or more of living? Hell, what vampire would choose to be in high school period?
For me to name off my favorite books would be a long list indeed. If I were to speak of one series in particular, it would have to be my personal obsession with Dune. I stick to the original series by Frank Herbert. I am caught up in the Intrigue, political theory, shadowed reference to life on earth as we know it, the Fremen mystique, and techniques in awareness that I find fascinating. There are six books in total. I warn potential readers though, it tends to get in your head...lol.

Dune
Dune Messiah
Children Of Dune
God Emperor Of Dune
Heretics Of Dune
Chapterhouse: Dune
My favorite author of all time is Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I am such a geek for his stuff. If I don't read him at least twice a year, I'm not happy.
my fav. books are of course the harry potter series, anita blake series, twilight just recently became one of my fav. series i guess it kinda grew on me cause i wasn't fond of it at first. and countless others that i am having trouble thinking about right now. oh i also love the lord of the rings trilogy. and the hobbit.
I don't think I can answer this really simply, but I love the Harry Potter series, the Outlander series (just got to meet Diana Gabaldon--the woman is amazing and soooo sweet!), Shanarra series, Sword of Truth series (what the Legend of the Seeker is loosely--VERY loosely--based off of, if anyone is watching it), and just about anything by R.A. Salvatore, Ed Greenwood, Tolkein, the rest of Diana Gabaldon's stuff (Lord John, etc), anything in the Forgotten Realms (from AD&D) series, a lot of AD&D books, Stephen King, geez... I could go on. I'll leave it there, cuz I can't think. But I also like a lot of non-fiction. I'm an amateur aromatherapy geek and herbalist as well, and I've spent 14 years (no longer there...) in vet medicine, so I also have all sorts of medical books floating around, human and pet! They make for great references when necessary...

I'm also a big historical fiction fan my favorite author being Philippa Gregory. I love her books. I also just read a new one in the same genre by Jean Plaidy. Another good author who is new to me is a suspense writer Kate Morton I've read two of hers so far "House of Riverton is my current reading and I just finished reading "The Forgotten Garden"
I have many more favorites my ereader is filled with books I am reading or plan on reading soon.
I love books about vampires, mainly, such as: Vampire Academy and House of Night. I also liked this one book, "The Looking Glass Wars." It was surprisingly good! I'm also in the process of writing a fantasy book, myself.

Blessed be,
~Beyond
