A note about Sept. 2010 BOM--"New Moon" (Twilight series), Stephenie Meyer

Hey guys,

I just wanted to make a quick note and remind you that we voted several months back that the fiction book "New Moon" would be our book for September. I'd love to know how many of you will be reading with us so we can have some great discussions. Lately, there have been a ton of votes for a particular book, and several of you have committed to the discussions, and it's only been one or two of us actually discussing the book. So if you'll leave a comment below letting me know who'll be participating, that would be just great!

Additionally, I need to give you chapters for each week's discussion. For the first week, we'll discuss the Prologue through Ch. 5; for the second week, we'll discuss Ch. 6-11; for the third week, we'll discuss Ch. 12-18, and for the fourth week, the final discussion will cover Ch. 19-Epiloge.

If anybody has any questions, feel free to post them here or send me a message. I'll check back every few days and answer as much as I can.

Also, I'll be posting a voting poll for the next NON-FICTION book for October about the first or second week of September, so please put your thinking caps on, ok?

Hello Jen!

I've got a ton of stuff going on in September, so I'm going to be sitting this one out. I hope to be able to carve the time out for October, but I'm not sure right now. I'm FINALLY getting some work so that's got to come first. I've got to make sure everything's done perfectly and ahead of deadline so I can get glowing references for more work in this economy.

Folks, I highly recommend participating. When I voted in on The Psychic Energy Codex, I initially didn't want to read it and had voted for something else in every round of voting. When this book was selected, I ordered it and participated because I had done so in the voting. I ended up being glad that I read this book even though I honestly did not want when I started it. I would have never read it otherwise and would've missed out.

Hey everybody,
Sorry I haven't had a chance to check back, but I'm really glad we'll have some good participation. Thanks, Desert Star, for the compliment, I appreciate it--sometimes wonder if anybody even wants to participate or pays attention! LOL ;) AT&T's been giving me h-e-double-hockey-sticks, so I didn't get to post our questions yesterday like I planned, but I'm headed over to start a discussion now!

I hope we'll really be able to get some good discussions going--Twilight, I thought, really got some great discussions, as did Marked, but it's been slacking some, so I hope we'll have some great interest now!
