Ok, guys! Time to start week 3's discussion, which will also be our final discussion, so I'd like to start off by suggesting a few talking points.
First, what are you thinking about the "vamp" legend/lore as it's continued to unfold in the book? Has it still appealed to you throughout the remainder of the book? Did you still find it interesting through to the end, since everyone so far has seemed to enjoy it?
Second, what new themes have you found in the book leading up to the ending, and did they remain subtle or did they feel harped-on?
Third, overall, did you still find yourself wanting to just read and read, or did you have to push yourself to get to the end? That, to me, is always an important part of reading a book! :)
Fourth, can you pose a question other than what I've listed to the rest of the group?
When you answer, please describe in some detail what you think. I'm going to reserve my own response till some of you have replied, as I don't want to "lead" anyone anywhere, and I also want to see what others have to say. When you answer, also, can you please give me some idea of your age (a range is fine, if you don't want to give an exact!)--mainly, since this is considered a teen novel, I'd like to hear if we're dealing with all ages of people reading, or just teens here. It will be interesting to hear your replies. Let's get this party finished (LOL)! This discussion will remain open until we've "exhausted" all discussion.
Hugs and BB,
Jen :)
