Hey guys,
Sooooo sorry to leave you hanging for so long. We had major issues with our internet. We did NOT get DSL, I'll just leave it at that. We were left without internet service for about 2 weeks, but now we've got it back, and my computer's finally updated. So, I'm back! Yay! Sorry to be soooo late getting the last discussion of the month up, but here it is! We'll finish the last 5 chapters, since that's all we have, in August, and then we'll start a new non-fiction book in September! :)
For Ch.9, Ex. 1:
1.) When you first started to perceive light inside you, did it seem to have any partial color or other noteworthy qualities?
2.) What significange does color or these other qualities have for you?
3.) If you had trouble perceiving internal subtle energy, can you identify environmental factors that may have interfered with your sensitivity?
4.) How would you go about correcting these for future experiments, if applicable?
5.) If there were no specific environmental factors, and you still had issues with sensitivity, can you identify causes for these issues and come up with solutions?
6.) When you first started focusing on the main energy centers, where was your attention drawn first?
7.) Did you perceive any shapes, sounds, colors, or other symbols in connection with the first center?
8.) How many centers did you perceive overall with your initial scan?
9.) After studying the major and most obvious centers, were there any others that caught your attention?
10.) How did these compare to the first centers?
11.) Where in the physical body did the main concentrations of energy seem to appear?
12.) When exploring more carefully, did you get any sense of a specific form or function?
13.) How did the energy circulating through the system seem to interact with and relate to the major systems?
14.) If applicable, for any other structures or centers of energy that seemed to appear, where in the physical body did they seem to appear?
15.) If applicable, for the other structures or centers of energy that seemed to appear, can you make any guess as to their form or function?
16.) If applicable, how did the energy circulating through the system seem to interact with and relate to the minor systems?
For Ch. 9, Ex. 2:
1.) Can divergent material arise from differences in perspective on the part of observers?
2.) Can divergent material arise from differences in individual, or cultural, symbol systems?
3.) Do perceivers have pre-conceived ideas that might influence their reporting of data?
4.) Could the different techniques of viewing data or different skill levels account for diverence in data?
5.) Given the natur of what is being perceived, what do you think is an acceptable margin of human error?
6.) Outside of difference perspectives, different methods of perception, diffferent symbol systems, and human error, can you think of any other viable explanation for divergence in reporting if we're going to accept that all sources are indeed attempting to report on the same thing?
7.) What does your intuition tell you about the source of divergent opinions.
For Ch. 9, Ex. 3:
1.) Are points of divergence significant enough to indicate perceivers are actually reporting on the same thing?
2.) Can a coherent picture of the phenomenon in question be developed from the convergent material?
3.) Taking into account the potential conflicting symbols, levels of perception, and different perspective, does it make sense that data would converge on these specific points?
4.) Are there ofhter factors, beyong the legitimate perceptions of a specific phenomenon, that may have led preceptors to produce convergent data?
5.) Compared to your own experience and perceptions, how does the convergent material measure up?
6.) What does your intuition tell you about the overall accuracy of the convergent material?
For Ch. 10, Ex. 1:
1.) How did you feel prior to this exercise?
2.) What internal events were contributing to this state of mind?
3.) What external events were influencing how you felt?
4.) When you first started to focus on closing off your energy, did you feel any kind of change? Please describe.
5.) When you started to cycle the energy within yourself, how did this feel? Please describe.
6.) How did you feel after completing this exercise?
7.) Overall, were the changes you felt after completing the exercise positive overal vs. how you felt beforehand?
8.) List some situations you encounter during your daily and weekly routing where this exercise might be helpful.
9.) How can you integrate this technique into your regular activities?
For Ch.10, Ex. 2:
1.) How did you feel just before walking into the mall?
2.) How did you feel just after walking into the mall?
3.) What did you feel like after the first 10 minutes walking around among everyone, being open to energvies around you?
4.) Do you find that you like being this immersed in the energy of others, or is it uncomfortable for you?
5.) How do you think this natural predeliction might affect the way you act around groups of people?
6.) Has your sensitivity to other people's energy manifested before without you knowing exactly what it was?
7.) How has this sensitivity affected you in the past?
8.) Does the mall now seem quiet or loud (after the exercise)?
9.) Did it seem louder before you sat down and gathered your energy?
10.) Was the noise you were actually hearing with your physical ears, or could it have been from a different sense?
Ch. 10, Ex. 3:
1.) When you were the perceiver, how difficult or easy was it for you to open yourself to the energy signatures of the people around you?
2.) How did you narrow your focus to perceive each distinct energy signature?
3.) What specific technique did you use?
4.) Were certain people easier to perceive than others?
5.) Was there something about their energy that made them stand out to you?
6.) What does this tell you about sensing different people's energy?
7.) Was there anyone in the group that you couldn't sense at all?
8.) If applicable, what do you know about that person and his/her energy?
9.) If applicable, can you think of a reason why the person existed in a kind of "blind spot" to you?
10.) When pointing out the exact location of the group members, how close were you?
11.) If you were able to point in the general location of at least a few people, how much space were you off by in each case?
12.) Assuming you were accurate and not just guessing, what does this tell you about a person's energy in relation to his/her physical body?
13.) If you did the variation where people were attempting to shield or alter their energy, how did this impact your senses?
14.) Did you have a more difficult time sensing people's shielded energy, if applicable?
15.) How completely were you fooled by people attempting to camoflage their energy as someone else's, if applicable?
16.) Did you feel yourself drawn to places no one was actually standing in?
17.) How strong was your perception at that place, if applicable?
18.) Assuming that your perceptions were accurate, how can you explain sensing a person's energy signature where no one was standing, if applicable?
19.) If you played the Native American stealth game, how close did someone have to get to you for you to be able to pick up on his/her energy?
20.) If applicable, what seemed to be the absolute outer limit of your ability to sense someone approaching you?
21.) If applicable, were you able to expand your limit through practice?
22.) If applicable, what does this tell you about your energy and sensitivites?
Hugs and BB--see you in August!
