My cat Hades was living on my brothers doorstep when I found him (neighbors left him when they moved). This was last November and we get about 4 feet of snow so I decided to bring him home and take care of him. He immediately took an interest to tarot and divination and we always invite him to rituals at our house, he sits under the alter and has a great time. One day I was lying on my bed meditating and he jumped up and put his paw in my hand and decided to go with me. I was kind of skeptical at first but he actually was there with me! It was the neatest thing that I have ever done. We talked and explored his realm. Has anyone else ever tried this before?

I haven't had one of my cats want to meditate with me, but I can tell you that cats tend to really LOVE energy work. For instance, my cats really like Reiki energy, and they LOVE being around when I'm doing Reiki, whether for myself or for someone else. In fact, my Reiki Master, when she does attunements, her cats will come and get in on the action. I've attuned at least 2 of my cats, and they both come and give me Reiki at times when I'm not feeling well. One of my cats is extremely sensitive, and he's always around--he'll come running, literally, from wherever he is--if someone sneezes even. It's very interesting to see how cats behave, but they're almost like little humans! My sensitive cat is almost always in bed with me, attempting to give me energy, trying to make me feel better--he'll lay down and press himself up against my back so he can make me feel better. But now that I've throw my back out, he'll get up on my pillow or at my feet. It's like he knows exactly what he needs to do. Cats are just like us!
Hugs and BB,
jen :)
When were you in GA? That's where I've been living almost my entire life since I was 4! LOL
