Please, please look for a way to have those cats fixed. There are so many unwanted cats in shelters. So many that are put down, hit by cars, or tortured in the wild. Live trap them and get them fixed.
You would not believe the way a male cat changes (settles) once he has been neutered.
Here are the statistics: Every 8 seconds a shelter animal is euthanized. More than 10,000 animals are put down in one day. Only 10% of shelter animal have been fixed. Less than 2% of cats are returned to their owners, and only 20-30% ever get adopted.
I don't mean to preach. I was once like you, but having a son whose job it was to euthanize I can tell you it takes a toll on the people who work art the shelters. We don't need anymore homeless animals, no more babies, when there are soooooo many in shelters.
Check out Enchanted Earth Church on Facebook, we do nightly meditations. Fri. nites are for shelter animals and abused and neglected pets.
Blessings to you and yours.

Hi y'all, if anyone is considering having an un-neutered tom kitten as a familiar, I'd recommend you don't. One of my older cats had a kitten, (just one lived) and I adopted him (or vise versa, no one owns a cat). He was a great companion, and I was sure he was going to make a great familiar, as my old (12 yrs) mama cat died. He was a constant companion and seemed to be very attuned to me, but when he reached tomcathood (new word), he wanted to dominate to the extent that he actually "marked" me, needless to say Ididn't appreciate that and it earned him a spanking and put outside. He decided that if I didn't want him as a mate??? he would find a pussycat that did and I have only seen him a few times. He did come home and bring his brood, a beautiful solid black mama and four adorable grey and black kits. They only stayed a few hours, then they were gone back to State Prison (down the road) where they live off the kitchen scraps. They were very fat and slick and I hope they are all doing well. I've seen him twice since then, but he was alone, so I don't know. My house cats have always been females and I guess unless I want to neuter one, the toms are outside cats.
I still have my older pussycat, Mags. She's Pumbah's aunt and is almost 10 years old. Needless to say, she comes and goes as she pleases. She just had a litter of 5 at the neighbor's house (we share her) and they are all showing their Persian bloodline (way back). Usually only one or two of her kittens in a litter show the very long hair, and this is the first kitten she's had that shows the Himalyon?(can't spell) Persian-Siamese cross coloring and blue eyes. Hopefully she will want to be my cat. Unlike her mother, who belonged to my mother (passed away Jan 2010). I have always had lots of cats (at one time I had 37), but now I'm alone and don't have the farm, so I'm down to one,Mags or the Queen, as my son calls her. lol. enjoy them while you have them, they aren't with us as long as I'd like them to be.
