Circle of Atargatis is conducting a Mabon ritual on Sat. Sept. 24 at 7:00 p.m. (CST). If you are in the Independence, MO area and would like to attend, please contact shukurakc@yahoo.com for information.

The ritual will also be available on SKYPE. We plan to use video cam so you will need to download Skype version 5.0 or higher in order to see the video stream.

Also, please download the Skype IDROO application -- go to Skype, Tools, Get Apps & download IDROO. It is a free program and gives us a "board" if we want to show pics or docs that way.

Please contact cofatargatis on Skype (if you have not already done so) and you will be accepted as a contact and will be added to the ritual call.

Too, please log on 10-15 mins. early so everyone will be ready when we start. We cannot accept calls after the ritual has started.

If you are attending the ritual on Skype, you will need a black tealight candle, a white tealight candle and a few acorns. I look forward to seeing everyone there .

That way you will be included in the call.

Circle of Atargatis in holding its Lammas ritual on Sat. July 31, at Sande's house at 8:00 p.m. (CST). Come early if you want to have dinner together before the ritual.

Prayers for Japan and Affected Areas

Greetings all,

The Correllian Tradition wishes to express its deepest sympathies toward all those affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami's in Japan, and in all areas affected by this tragedy. May the Deities and Ancestors be with them, protect and help them.

As you may know, Japan was hit by a magnitude-8.9 earthquake, considered to be one of the worst earthquakes of the last 150 years. The earthquake in turn triggered devastating tsunamis ravishing much of the country. Many hundreds of people have been killed, and many cities and villages have been destroyed.

We would like you to join us in praying for the welfare of all concerned, and sending healing energy to the region. We pray that those who are in pain, living and in spirit, may come to safety and may be comforted, helped, and healed.

In particular we are deeply mindful of the 118 Witch School students in Japan, and we pray for their safety and well being.

Witan Herald Rev. Anna Rowe HP and the Correllian Temple of Healing will be dedicating two rituals this evening to the peoples of Japan and effected areas in the wake of the earthquake and tsunami's.

Please consider joining us for one or both of these rituals.
