greetings D. Williams. I am very empathic, and have worked for many years as a Psychiatric Nurse, using my empathic skills to help those with emotional problems. This is my interest in healing right now. I also am able to shield myself from becoming exhausted while doing this. I find however, that I am unable to achieve the same shielding if a peer is involved rather than someone I am working with. I do not know how to combat this. Is there an actual title of being an Empath? Could you elaborate on that please. Thank you.

What are the main interests hear as far as healing? I am a Medicinal Herbalist looking to get into reiki soon and an empath. what else are we interested in?

It seems as if this board has been quiet for a bit long.
Greetings!! I am an herbalist and certified in reflexology, and currently working on a Holistic Health Science degree. I am currently fascinated by chakra healing, though I have always had a very hard time connecting with the energies I feel constantly. In hopes that we can bring this discussion board back to life.....I would like to see if I could hear some experience on healing for the healer.....guidance with personal healing through meditation.....how to connect with the energies that radiate during healing. I suppose t'would be the energy moved in the concept of reiki.
And I wonder about the fate of the child Ty, as Boerne is a place I know well, and have lost a child of my own.

Greetings to all. I have a special request that involves all members if you wish to participate. My request is that all members join me in sending healing energy to a child who at this time is suffering from an unknown illness that has kept him, out of school and other normal activities. Child's name is Ty, 6yrs of age and resides with parents in Boerne, Texas. Merry Meet Leeanne, I read about Dr Gerson's work and am actally a bit interested in it as I have a chronic illness with no actual treatment plan, only symptom management. I am looking into more natural ways of dealing with this condition through diet, herbal medicine, etc. I would love to hear more about your methods and such. Perhaps start a Discussion? Blessings
