I have been studying wicca for a while now. How do I apply it to my life? I have all the tools, and a bit of knowledge. Where should i start. Also could i worship Hindu deities?

I apply it by doing good deeds like letting someone pull out while I wait to leave the parking lot at my sons school. I told my boys karma returns when you do good deeds even if it isn't the same day. I recycle, I donate items to the womens shelter, and I also donate items to the second hand stores. I light a candle daily and pray for those who need healing and for the less fortunate. I hope this is helpful.

Anne I love that you are putting so much positive energy into the world! I think it's important for every witch to SHOW and DO, and not just talk and talk. Thanks for sharing that (and your Light!)

MM Anne :)

Thanks for the advice.
You can worship any dieties you want to. Usually they will pick you by how you feel drawn to them. Unless you're in a coven who, from what ive been told, have their own particular dieties.

And you just be kind to eveyone. And get a regular prayer thing of some kind going. and read all you can.
I think you've had some good answers, but I'd suggest that you read up just a bit, as most of the Deities don't particularly care for you to "worship" Them per se... In Wicca, it's more about devotionals, rituals, good deeds (as was stated), and that sort of thing. But the Gods/Goddesses don't want nor need our worship, and we don't tend to give it. We try to get to know them in a way that makes Them more real to us, we try to ask for Their blessings when we need it. They'll give it if it's what They believe is right for us, and withhold it if it's not. That's more our way. I'd suggest you consider enrolling in WSI, if you haven't already, and take at a minimum the Living the Wiccan Life course. It'll give you a better foundation, IMHO, for how to apply Wicca to your daily life. It really IS the best way to learn that. It'll teach you about protection, rituals, how the pentacle really applies to us (in a real sense), and those sorts of things.

Hope this helps some.

I'm just starting out (it's been a few months now) and I'm still learning the sabbats and am taking courses. I have the same questions, too. Realtra, I read that while you're in the Correllian temple or group, you should only pray to the Goddess or the God, or any patron deity that "calls" to you. Whether or not that meant Hindu or not, I don't know. That may be a question for one of the Reverends. At least, that's what the lessons said. Outside of the temple or group, you're welcome to worship any deity that you please. Blessed Be, Crescent
That was really well said, and I think that sums it up nicely.

YES, YOU CAN worship Hindu deities! If these are the deities you are called to, learn all you can about them and honor and respect them in ways you know they'll appreciate. Meditate on them. Have conversations with them. Ask them how they want you to work with them. And, don't forget to remain open to how the answers come to you. You may be responded to right away, or it may take a while to get an answer. Answers may come to you in many forms... maybe you'll overhear a conversation that answers your questions. Maybe you'll see something, or an idea or inspiration may suddenly "pop" into your head. As Rev. Don explains in the 1st degree lessons, the God and Goddess go by many names. Hindu deities are included! As to how to apply Wicca to your life, it looks like you've gotten some great advice already!!

Start at the beginning. Thank The Goddess  and God first thing in the morning. When you clean, think in Magical terms as well. You are getting ride of negativity. When you cook stir clock-wise, and bless your food. Light candles, burn incense, all while thinking about the reason. Any worries, hope. You can do simple spells by choosing the right color and right incense. Say a blessing over food, before bed give thanks for another day, and all you have learned, struggled, etc. Celebrate the changing seasons and all our holidays. Learn as much as you can. Soon you will find it becomes second nature.

Blessings Lady Luna

If you go through the 1st Degree Wicca Program through WitchSchool, these things are discussed. There are also classes concerning Deities... It's not just that you are drawn to a Deity. You also have to use different Deities for different Magickal Workings. You should look into the correspondence between what you need and which Deity you need.

In Wicca, you have the right to follow whatever Deity you are drawn to. This is something that will fall into place...
All of these answers to the initial question are really good advice, and I'm just starting to take classes here so I'll be sure to add the one about living with Wicca to my list. I also wanted to add, that applying Wicca to my life includes for me celebrating every day in nature, and not letting a day go by without noticing the wonder of it all. Today it's snowing for the first time this year. I'm still full of wonder at the things the Goddess shows me.
