Faery Ribbon Stars

Does anyone know how to make faerie ribbon stars. There is a correct way to overlap the rays of the stars. I would love to have these in my yard this year. I am including a picture.

I would think it's kinda like drawing the star itself. I'll have to try it sometime and I'll make an instructional video for you.
