wow thats funny. i saw the title of your post and thought you were looking for help on turning images to patterns. so i was going to suggest knitpro. it is awesome! i can never get it quite right doing it by hand since graph paper is usually square and stitches are not. that looks really nice by the way. i know you posted it to show off the image on it, but i must say the cable work is beautiful!

Ty. The knotwork is created with a variation of the cable technique. If you try to use a traditional cabling style, you get holes. The variation I came up with keeps that from happening.

I do both. Got started when I was 8 and was stuck and my grandparents for a couple of weeks. No kids around, so I was getting on my grandma's last nerve. So she taught me how to crochet. She later taught me how to sew and quilt.
