I just took the Dreamworking (DRE102) class and was shocked to find out that lucid dreaming is rare. I naturally become lucid in many of my dreams and thought it was common. Then there was the exercises to dreamweave. I was hesitant to try them because in the past whenever I tried to control anything in my dreams I suffer sleep paralysis. When this happens I was unable to "move" in my dream, to wake, or once awake to move in my waking state for a while. It is also accompanied with intense negative emotions/experiences that are sometime personified in a malevolent entity pressing down on me. Because of fear of this, once I become lucid in my dreams, I just let the dream take me wherever it wants to go. I just remember the dream better than the ones that I'm not lucid. My father often had dreams about events in his personal near future life. Sometimes I've experienced this as well. The class stated that if a dream is resistant to change that it might mean that there is something important your subconscious mind wants to say. As I have done the dream journaling the class suggested, I notice that most of my dreams held deep psychic meaning. I am asking anybody who have psychic experiences in dreams to help me out. Should I go ahead with the exercises in the class?

I haven't finished the class, but I also have sleep paralysis when i dream weave, i think that if you have the condition, whenever you dream weave during a bad, or scary dream, it will happen, so you really need to learn how to not "panic" when the paralysis takes you.

Thanks for your reply. It's good to know I'm not the only one.
