Hello all!  My husband and I bought our first house about a year ago, and I'm having a hard time making the kitchen the heart of the home.  It just doesn't "feel" right. (Actually I hate going in there!)  I've boiled herbs such as chamomile and lavender and even mopped the floor with the water they were in, but it's still not right.  I've never had this issue with kitchens of houses past--any suggestions?

Have you tried sage yet? my house was like that when i moved in. It was the whole house though. I burned saged in every room and mopped with sage water...it was livable that same day! Hope it helps!
Mopping with salt water charged in the full moon light has always worked for me.
Do you have a kitchen alter? After burning sage, and washing with sage and salt water, (mixed with a little lemon or orange oil) use a white candle to set the good intentions. I use a white candle inscribed with a goddess symbol every time I go in the kitchen to cook or do spell work,(to me cooking and spell work are almost the same thing). It's keeps the kitchen spirits happy. I also keep a small goddess statue, some quartz crystals, and some plants in there. Hang some crystals in the windows to help avert bad vibrations. Do what feels right to you. Make this your room. These are just ideas, for you it may be different. Just remember every room has spirit, or vibrations. )0( Blessings and I hope you have success.
