Not really. I don't get downtown very often, but when I do, I look to see if there are storefonts, or homes of a useful, practical size for a temple and possible attached shop. There are more and more homes up for rent that would be a good size, but they're too far off N High where a lot of the shops are. Parking is a big problem. Businesses usually have street parking and possibly 2 or 3 parking spots in back, but I haven't seen any place with enough parking for a temple meeting/ritual. There are some empty buildings with their own parking lots, but they look like they'd need some renovation before we could make use of them. How much square footage do you think would be needed for the temple, shop, and storage? And also how many parking spots do you think would be practical? I might be able to check realtor sites online.

Chicago’s Holy City Temple.

The theme for this years Lustration of the Living is Prophecy and we
will explore how Oracular prophecy and Ancestor workings are important
within the Correllian Tradition as well as how several other religions
work with these issues.

Speakers will include myself and Rt. Rev. Traci Wood who will speak on
the subject of Oracular and Ancestor working in the Correllian
Tradition: Babalawo Alan Kulevich Ifa-Bi who will speak on how the Ifa
religion relates to the Ancestors and ideas of Ancestral guidance and

becoming a future Ancestor –building tomorrow’s Ancestors today: and
Rev. Diana of Holy City Temple will speak about the Akashic Record
s as
an aspect of Oracular Prophecy.

Festivities will begin with a reception Friday Sept 4th. Saturday Sept
5th will feature speakers and workshops. Initiations will be Saturday
evening. The Lustration ceremony itself will be held on Sunday Sept
6th. A complete schedule can be seen at

Most of my connecting with people is done online. I have gathered all sorts of Pagan and related info over the years and most of it is in my digital BOS. I'm happy to share what I have if there is anything in particular you're looking for. If we could set up an online study group, I would try to work that into my schedule. I'm a solitaire and am not particularly interested in joining a circle, though, but thank you.
