Permalink Reply by Lissa M. Oliver(Howe) on December 29, 2011 at 6:35pm I also use bulk teas when I brew and I do infusions for 1-3 hours. My favorite tea is probably ginger, peppermint, and chamomile for digestion aid. Sometimes I add Cinnamon, Orange peel, and Stevia leaf for additional flavor especially when I'm trying to get young children to drink my teas. Though I typically get them excited by having them help me make the tea.
My favorite summer tea blend is Hibiscus, Rosehips and Stevia because it makes a great refrigerant and a wonderful Cool-aid substitute for my neices, nephews and younger siblings.

And I buy dried Hibiscus flowers. 2 Tblsp in some water (don't know how much really - just fill my tea pot to just the right spot. Lol) and then I let it slowly steep. It turns the prettiest shade of purple. Just love it ! Anyway, I grow and dry lemon mint in my herb garden and about halfway thru the steeping process I add about a small palm full (maybe a tsp ?) to the water. It is the best tea ! Add some Stevia or a little honey and you are good to go !
I love green tea, Yogi tea, and believe it or not Echinacea tea.
Do you make crystallized orange peel ? I have often wanted to try that. I am off work tomorrow, and so that very well may be on the agenda. :- )

I love taking a drop or two of Echinacea tincture, letting it sit on my tongue and then drinking water. lol
