I really like the raw stone with all it's flaws. I truly believe that the flaws give the stone character and a different and sometimes stronger feel for them.

Lucky you! Quartz is the main crystal in the carolinas, but you have to go inland from me.

I have lots of little selinite crystals. I was lucky enough to live near a mountain that had it and I just picked them up after the spring thaw and rains. Mine have lots of little bursts too...so I have a bag of nothing but selinite. LOL

What a greaat find Singingwater. Sellenite is a great healing crystal, I was introduced to it by a Shambala Reki master. I use them alot now, but never thought to put them to use likr that. I will have to try it.

A few years ago at a county fair I bought a sellenite crystal about the length of my hand and used it as a wand because it vibrated when I held it.

Yesterfay my children came back from Guam with a special rock for me, it was a river rock from his families land in the mountains. It is green -blue and radiates love. Now I get to find out what it is, and see if my feelinfgs are right, not only the love of my kids, but my son-in-laws shamen grandmother that passed away 20 years ago.

I've always loved jewelry making, before I knew of the properties of crystals, I would always feel attracted to the beads made of various crystal, and even then I'd always want a specific one in the pile of beads. Now I know it qa attraction to the right crystal for me!
Combining my loves of jewelry making and crystals makes it so much more meaningful :)

Merry Meet I have always had an affinity for crystals rocks, and stones I love to hold them, to feel them and their energy and I place in special places in my home. I also feel people sometimes its like I know if the have a problem, just don;t know what to do about it all Blessed Be
