I have been wondering for a while now weather the stone called crackle quartz is actually a natural mineral. Mom baught it for me in south africa last year and its been bothereing me ever since. i can work with it, no problem but i was just wondering if this was actually a naturally formed crystal or weather it has been treated in some way.

Crackled Quartz is a Clear Quartz that has been both heat treated, which causes the crackled look, and color infused (dyed). It is a man enhanced natural crystal. :)
