Thanks for posting this list. I'll definably keep this in mind. I was surprised that aluminum came up so many times and was not aware of the adverse affects of that metal. This list spurred me to look them up. I was really surprised at what I found,
Thanks, so many of the old lists of crystals in magic include even mercury. It is great to have a list to work with!
I've been using malachite a lot lately and I was really surprised to find that it has mercury in it. I'm a bit wary about it now.
Malachite is a secondary mineral of Copper deposits =) It contains about 60 % copper.

(It is very soft and absorbant stone, and should be kept separate from harder stones and corrosive material such as salt and oils.) And one can make gem essenses/elixirs from it without letting it touck the water - it's said that taking three drops of the gem essense regurlarly is going to coneract long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation.
I had mosly been using it by placing it against chakra points, but a Crystal elixir sounds like a good idea. How do you make one without putting the stone in water?
You can either surround the glass of water with the crystals, placing them around and outside of the glass with water. You can also place them in a glass bowl, smaller than the glass with water, and float the little bowl in the glass. A third was is to place the crystals inside a water-proof container and place this inside the glass of water, immersing it in water. Note that it's best if the crystal water gets both sunlight and moonlight =)
Thanks, I'll give it a try. I used to see this doctor who practiced alternative therapies. he always stressed that glass was good because vibrations and energies could be transferred through it. I'll have to look into getting some glass mixing bowls or something. Thanks so much.
Yeah... I could hardly believe it myself, how many crystals have aluminum in them.
From what I have read, very few crystals are dangerous to the touch, or to wear on skin. On the Mooncave site, they write: "Most on the list are geared toward internal use with a few being cautionary for external use."

Just a note: They mention to do some research before making a crystal elixir. Some crystals can't be put in water and those you should use a non-direct method to make the gem elixir/water. Also, it is always best to only use one stone for each container of water, not to place severeal crystals in/around the same container. Some crystals will react to other stones in a way that isn't good.

If anyone knows a crystal that should have been on this list, but isn't, please add it =)
