I thought we could start by how as being differently-able how we as a group can  work in ritual

I myself have done it in my wheelchair, with a walker and even sitting on the floor.  What does it mean to hold ritual sacred and think that these tools are stunting us?  I think not because if it wasn't for man made tools we would not be where we are or will be.  We are strong in heart as we hold our spirit in our body's.  .Remember we hold dear to the mother earth that makes all these tools accessible to us and we are just tools for our souls in some peoples eyes.  Don't allow others to make you feel unwanted because we are different, and sometimes have to do things a bit unconventional but then our whole existence is not to conform is it not?  Think on it, and you might find your self finding a open door.

You bring up some very important points. If I understand you correctly, it's like you're looking at the same thing some of us are looking at, but you're seeing it in a whole new way, like from the opposite side, kind of. All in a positive way of course! Thank you

When you are house bound and in a wheelchair, we have to create the same as if we where just as able as the next person, but we have to be more in tune with ourselves and see things in a more creative way.

I have worked independantly for the most part of my practice, & I have not yet started taking the classes here yet, however,I have been doing ritual for some time now.
As I age, arthritis is taking it's toll on me more & more. I have a sacred area where I do ritual. It is on a beach where I spent my youth. I did my Cronehood initiation ritual there the Equinox before this one & struggled. One year & a day later, I went back to discover that I could barely make the trek, even using my cane. Creativity seems to be the key here!
I found that I could no longer stand for the calling of the corners, so I sank into the sand & sat. I spun myself around in the sand & called the corners anyway! I don't feel that it much matters HOW a matter is accomplished, but more so the intent behind it, & that the attempt is made to the best of our ability. After all it is the spiritual realm that we are working in & not the physical.
I finished the ritual, & was pleasently surprized when it was over to find that my ritual had been witnessed & the person who had witnessed it came to my aide to assist me when I started to leave!
