The spiritual aspect of Samhain is it's most important aspect. The festival is regarded as a celebration of the new year and as the festival of the dead. As death is seen to be merely a door that…Continue

My husband and I are interested in practicing our Holy Day rituals together.  I am wiccan and he is a druid.  We are wanting to write our own rituals, but we're not sure where to begin.  Any ideas?

Phillip Carr-Grom, the chosen chief of OBOD wouldn't have a problem with Wicca/Druidry combo, especially since he has written a book about it. http://www.druidry.org/druid-way/other-paths/wicca-druidcraft

In Celtic Reconstructionist thought the Druids did worship gods and goddess. I also do blend my Druidry with Wicca. I find no problem with it and neither does some Druid groups. Example: I've never heard OBOD talk bad about witches that practice Druidry along with their craft.

Hi everyone! Full moon Druitch ritual... Does anyone mix the two disciplines in their rituals, or do you keep your Druidry separate? Since there is some debate as to whether the ancient Druids actually worshiped any gods/goddesses per se, does this bare any weight to your individual ritual design? I like to blend many styles depending on the occasion, but was wondering if anyone out there doesn't...or does.

Just came by to say hello. I'm buying the Moon Goddess statue next Friday and I'm looking forward to adding her to my altar.

Welcome to all new members, feel free to post and discuss on the subject.

Lately I've been away from both Wicca and Druidism (sort of), but I'm counting on all of you to keep the group going.

Hello I'm Kathleen Shute. Nice to meet you, happy holidays. I was wondering is it challenging to blend Wicca and Druidry? Do you have to be carefull with everything? O does it depend on the situation? Please let me know. B.b.

I've gotten people that have told me that the Druids didn't worship anything, no gods or goddess, earth, nothing like that. I disagree because the Christians destroyed their groves and took over their sacred sites. If the Druids didn't worshp the gods then why are the gods there? Personally they just want to make history work for them.
Don't mean to bash other people but that got me really mad. Anyway, glad to be here and I believe that you can blend witchcraft with Druidry. Thanks for having the group.

Hello everyone! Welcome to all the new members.
It's cold, so join us around the hearth.
Tell us about your experiences as a Druid Witch or, if you're a Bard, tell us a tale...

Greetings!

I thought this group sounded interesting and thought I'd join! I have an interest in both Witchcraft and Druidism, so maybe this is the right place for me!
