Aeron Jericho NightJewel, the Crown Prince of the kingdom of Karmia and the Heir to the Lion Throne, was the High Adept Mage of the Order of the Death Vale Mages, which is a sect within the Brotherhood of Warrior Mages. He and his twin brother, Gideon, were born in their father's ancestral castle, in the Capital City of Heaven. He was given two strange birthmarks at his birth: the symbol of Scorpio on his right wrist and the symbol of the Planet of Pluto on his right shoulder blade.
Brynn Ashlyn StarBlade, a Princess of a Fey realm in the Kingdom of Loria, was the High Priestess of the Order of the Sacred Water, a sect within the Sisterhood of the Enchanted Witches. She was chrged with being the Lady of the Lake. She was born in her father's ancestral castle of the Capital City of Talina. She was given one strange birthmark at her birth: the symbol of the multicolored heart surounded by waves. She is the second child and the first daughter of the Lorian King.

It was the beginning of the month of Storm Moon; the year was 1293 Before Mortal Kind. The times were uncertain for everybody.
In the capital city of Heaven, which is the Capital of Karmia, there resided a sect within the priesthood known as the Order of the Death Vale, which was part of the Brotherhood of Warrior Mages. Aeron Jericho NightJewel, who was the crown prince and heir to the Lion Throne, was the leader of this sect.
This capital city was surrounded by a forest on one side, known as the Diamond Forest, and an ocean on the other side, known as the Moon-Crossed Ocean.
It had been seven months since the brotherhood had left for the defense of the different provinces and the country sides of the kingdom of Karmia; they had left on the beginning of the month of Thunder Moon, year 1292 Before Mortal Kind. The demonic soldiers have been waging a terrible campaign against the Angels and the Dragon Kindred from the kingdom of Foria.
While the brothers from the brotherhood were away at war, the sisters from the Sisterhood of Shamans prayed for their safe return home.
